  1. Do you have personal experience with the PS4/PS4s difference? I am curious if there is a huge jump to the S. I can only talk to my own experience. Personally I have cars with PS4, GY Assymetric 5, Assymetric 6 and GY SuperSport. I hate the PS4. They're made in China. The Assymetric 6 were cheaper than PS4 and are made in Germany and are a beautiful tyre. They are on a BMW M Sport and compliment the car beautifully. Rim protection is great and the car is unflappable. The GY Super Sports are on the 3.0R Spec B and are wonderful and handle superb, however I recommend the Assymetric 6 is the better road tyre due to wear and wet weather performance. Just looking at the premium to go from GY the PS4S I personally don't see the merit given how happy we are with the GY products. A direct comparison would be PS4 to Assymetric 5. I bought Assymmetric again. It has better rim protection, made in Germany, better steering response and sportier more nimble handling. For street car I wouldn't look at the GY SS or the PS4s. Unless autocrossing. There is a good Continental the UC6 which are on my parents car a Mazda SP23 which have done well.
  2. Nah I have Michelin PS4 on my old daily. Sticky but feel like a pair of Converse chuck Taylor all stars. The Goodyears are much much better in terms of steering feel and feedback and ride quality. GY feel like Nike runners compared to Michelin PS4. I'd go conti sport contact 7 if I was going to a different brand.
  3. Where I live we cannot even get all season or winter tyres. It doesn't drop any lower than 8 C on the coldest night other year. Everyone runs summer tyres all year round. Recommend Florida is the same. I hear dws are very good though. Everyone seems to like them.
  4. We've been running Goodyear Eagle F1 and love them on our fleet. My wife's 06 Legacy has SuperSports while her M Sport has Assymetric 6's. I recommend the Assymetric 6. Way better than the PS 4 on my old daily.
  5. Hi, I'm kicking around thoughts of upgrading the stock speakers with something... better... Without ripping apart my doors, does anyone know what sizes the stock speakers are? Many thanks.
  6. I don't really need to add caster, just fixing blown out bushings. I can easily get the double offset and ALK bushings though. Was just wondering if there were any more advantages to the Mevotech units to justify an additional $250 shipping costs to me. I got the super pro arms on sale for same cost as parts separately on sale so this is a nice solution. I have a few things to fix so saving a trip to get bushings pressed is appealing. Looking at the old bushings this should be a huge improvement.
  7. Do these have revised geometry like some STI lower control arms? Or same geometry as the stock steel ones? Time for new control arms, trying to work out if it's worth upgrading to the aluminum ones. Aftermarket JDM control arms like the Mevotech CMS80181.
