  1. Revival..... Just to be clear, do I need the 17mm spacers for the 18" OEM wheels to clear? From my understanding 18" wheels fit, no? Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  2. Lolol....you have no idea how much this fourm hits your pockets Start saving Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  3. Maybe a Toronto thing, but I get waves and looks from almost every Subaru driver under 60yrs old I see. There tends to be a lot of rubber necking from WRX/STI drivers trying to understand what I'm driving and who's driving it. I also get at least 1 car trying to race me on the highway evey day heading to work, usually a 3 series or and Audi or infinity driver (I guess that's a compliment) and sometimes American muscle cars come at me (mustangs and chargers)....for the record, I never back down [emoji41] Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  4. Surprisingly....that's all 1 plastic piece. It looks like an easy removal, but it's 1 mold just painted different. I have a cousin that does body work so I plan on asking him what's easier. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  5. Grabbed something for my quad tip project...gonna merge a wrx lower half and paint match it.... So far I've been able to get part dirt cheap. Looking for a cheap body guy now. Basic plastic welding and some body filler is all I'll need.... Updates to come. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  6. Wow....I also bought a VMS on eBay for cheap....it broke during the install at the weld points as well, and the lockpin was stuck, couldn't get it off. I had to JB weld it back together still attached to the transmission. It's held up fine since mid March, car is my daily. I put 80kms a day on it. No problems since.... I'm not recommending my solution as I had little options as the SSA was stuck on the tranny. But I must say, JB weld is some incredible stuff. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  7. No shipping cost to Canada....no tax either. $283.72usd for a pair of rears, shipped $279.74usd for a pair of fronts, shipped Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  8. Looking good. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  9. The consensus around here is koni sports. Right now they have a sale til June 30th. Front shocks $139 each (you'll need donor struts) Rear shocks $141 each I'll be making my purchase in 30 days.... If you scroll down you'll see a current thread where Falcor is doing the upgrade with lots of details. There's another detailed install on here somewhere, just use the search function. 10. Let the Brembo journey begin... Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  11. I bought the cheapest coilpacks available from Rockauto (approx. $60 each)....car drives amazing. Currently stage 1 tuned. IMO, upgraded coilpacks are a waste of money. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  12. Nice work [emoji106] Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  13. Try these... C1010VA000 or C1010VA001 Both show up as short throw for 2019-2020 WRX...the 2nd one is STI short throw, not sure what makes them different. All I know is the 1st one is what I installed a few days ago and it feels amazing. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  14. I often turn my phone sideways as it blocks my navigation....I would try another option next time. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  15. STI rsb....My first attempt was cut short due to what appeared to be rusty bolts...so I sprayed some WD40 and decided to go at this again with the impact drill....problem solved. Also changed the endlinks while I was down there. Let's see if this does anything [emoji848] Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  16. Understood....it has now been removed from my eBay watch list lol Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  17. I have a VMS ssa (Perrin knockoff) and it broke during install. Right now it's being held together by JB weld, still going strong since mid March. That along with the shift stop has me sitting pretty nice for the time being. The boomba stick is tempting but I'm saving for the konis right now. It will have to wait....enabler [emoji37] Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  18. This is the standard 2019 short throw shifter. Not the STI...it's still night and day. Feels so much tighter and so much smoother. The throws are indeed shorter than what I had, but the biggest improvement is the minimal play and crispness of the throws now So happy I did this. I watched the install videos 3 times so I breezed through the installation process (even though I snapped two bolts on my heatshield [emoji37]...gotta get that fixed today) Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  19. Installed 19' WRX shifter.....wow.... Wow....one of the best mods available. 10/10 bang for the buck. Special thanks to the enablers in the "What did you buy...." thread. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  20. Sounds like koni upgrade coming for me.... Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  21. Enablers.... couldn't turn down a $90 upgrade. Facebook marketplace wins again.[emoji37] It's off a 2019 WRX, guy had the dealer upgrade to the STI shifter from the lot. It's brand new [emoji38] Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  22. Did you replace the entire housing or just the shifter itself? I can find a short shifter on eBay for $100 shipped which isn't bad, but the OEM full setup in a different animal price wise. I'll check what I can get it for on Facebook marketplace too. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  23. I have the bushing and a knockoff shifter adapter. I really like what they added...not sure I would get much more from the WRX short shifter and they aren't cheap. Maybe down the road I'll consider it. Seems like too much work to install as well. We'll see. Thanks Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  24. This is accurate information....I concur lol My setup rubs slightly at the rear on large dips at high speeds, but I would clear no problem with 10mm less. I need a roll at the back running 19x9.5 +40 with a 1" drop. If he stays factory height he can run the 25mm spacers without worry tho Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
