  1. I see what you did there..... LOL Anyways, changed oil 2 weeks ago, already did 1k miles! Checked it, not low enough to top off! I guess highway driving is way way better for the car! Scotty
  2. Ditto.. just usual PM to do at some point soon. Too dang hot out... Scotty
  3. I just check out the website. Sounds awesome, however, I'd have to inquire about vehicle/project car storage. I mean... some jobs are gonna take a day or 2. However, it's not far from me, I wonder how long the business will last..... Scotty
  4. This week has definitely gotten better. The weekend is looking even better. I've been working on my toy car even more because of the weather and I've just about narrowed down my issue with it. Gotta love late 80's Chrysler turbo cars... As for the LGT, looked at it, checked my fluids, topped off the usual, oil change this weekend, still gotta install that turbo heat shield..... Scotty
  5. A buddy of mine bought a kit from one of the tool guys. Not snap on.. but it's a 3M kit with like 2 different air powered sanders. Not for nothing, I consider myself a fat kid, and standing in this heat sanding and cleaning and sanding... I'm good....LOL Scotty
  6. Spoken like a true New Englander! In spirit of the thread... I topped off my oil. Exactly 1 quart in 1500 miles. I'm now finally noticing my driving habits reflecting my oil usage. On another note, while checking said mileage I noticed I also needed an oil change.. that'll be next week. Also, I had the headlights cleaned and looking close to new-ish again! Best 40 bux I ever spent! Scotty
  7. I have absolutely no idea. 2 groups of friends moved down there about a year or so ago. They love it.. I say they can keep it! I'll be doing the same tomorrow morning, gotta do a brake line on my pickup, a 92 K1500 Scotty
  8. Thank you. I'll definitely try it over the weekend. Seriously, someday, I'll buy you a drink if we ever cross paths at a meet. Scotty
  9. Those are my pics.... LOL. Anyways that bracket I'm holding, the bolt holes don't line up with the top 2 studs of my DP, but if that's the correct part, I'll try to install it anyway. The history of this car since I've got it has been of questionable repair people. Missing random parts, botched repairs, and on and on.. hence why I'm asking. Scotty
  10. I finally got a heat shield, however I'm missing the bracketry.. anyone? Scotty
  11. For the longest time, I was getting the one (2096) code. The 303 didnt come into play almost a year later. The 2096 wasn't a constant issue hence the length if time in finding thee fix for my case. What I'm trying to say is that there could be something else in the mix that's causing the 2096 to come up and it's just not rearing its ugly head.... Scotty
  12. Here is what happened in my quest for a cure.... lol https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=https%3A%2F%2Flegacygt%2Ecom%2Fforums%2Fshowthread%2Ephp%3Ft%3D266511&share_tid=266511&share_fid=5383&share_type=t Scotty
  13. Saw this up on Rt.24 in Randolph yesterday.. awfully quiet, but nice! Scotty
  14. Congratulations! I can't wait to see the graphs and videos! Scotty
  15. Gave it a bath... this.is.the.best.color.evah! Scotty
  16. Thank you for the link.. totally gonna do this when I have downtime... LOL More like someday.. Scotty
  17. Cant wait for the engine porn... Just saying...... Scotty
  18. Have you tried using an oil tracer dye? I've done that back in my dealership days with moderate success. Scotty
  19. As I tell everyone, you cant take it to the grave. If you can swing it and not get into a bind financially, do it..... Scotty
  20. Finally installed my long acquired catted DP. Flashed stage 2 from the AP. I'm kinda liking this.. [emoji106][emoji106] Scotty
  21. Update.. came apart easy. Thanx again everyone! Scotty
  22. Minimal. The turbo was replaced before I bought the car about 3 years ago. How long before that, I'm not too sure. It's definitely newer looking than anything else! Solid advice everyone. Thank you. Scotty
  23. So, I finally got the time to install my long acquired catted downpipe. Any advice for the bolts/nuts? Mapp gas torch??? Scotty
