I'm starting to feel like an hypochondriac reading and listening to these issues and within a week i'm dealing with similar. Just heard a sound from the wheel well yesterday at about 25-mph range and the first thing i thought of was this thread.

So I'm looking to get some wheels for the spring and summer but I'm debating now on size, 18", 19" or 20".
I'm in Northern NJ and there are pot holes. Should I just get the 20", be careful and accept the ride comfort it will have? I will also lower the car about 1 inch.
I know it's mostly my personal preference on what to choose but why are most people not going to 20"?

This person is on IG and told me his are 20" and fenders are rolled.

Your sitting nice as it is, why go lower and bigger? I'm originally from Parsippany and I know your roads pretty good so after plows, salt, and 18 wheelers the roads can get pretty bad and the repairs to them can take forever. Just my opinion I would leave as is.

What can I do to help?

Generally a staggered offset is not good for an AWD car. The problem comes when you have mismatched tire sizes/diameters on front/back as you'll end up destroying your centre differential.
This is the same issue as when you have to replace one tire when the others are worn. The new tire will be larger diameter and you'll end up wearing out your differential.
It is possible to match the tire diameters, however when running different size tires this becomes difficult thing to achieve in reality. Plus then you have to be concerned about varying wear rates over the life... and it becomes a total nightmare.
Easiest solution is just to run the same rim/tire size on an AWD car.
Seriously Thank You, I was feeling so bad both for myself and that the seller would get a last minute back out from me. I am sure he will understand. I can't thank you enough!

Hello all, Ok here we go I have yet another question. I was talking to a guy (not in a dark ally) about some rims and tires from a lexus Is something or whatever and he said he wanted to sell me his staggered (nice) rims for $500 I quickly said yes (then that taste came in my mouth of what did I just do to myself) then realized I know nothing about fitting rims and may have just shot myself. All I know is they are the same bolt pattern BUT does that mean I can use them and will it have a negative effect on my baby? HELP!!

Well, I have officially begun tuning with XRT last night due to the lack of communication from Throttle happy.
What I can say is, in the short amount of time (weeks) he's been tuning the 6th gens opposed to throttle happy (years) he's already surpassing his tunes.
My previous tune with throttle happy was extremely, well, throttle happy.. The car was jumpy, hyper sensitive, there wasn't much drive ability at all.
My first night with XRT, he loaded a rom into my car, I drove around while he monitored the vehicle, had me pull off into a parking lot, made adjustments, and loaded an updated rom into the car.
Last night there were more roms loaded into my vehicle than throttle happy has loaded in six months.
As PDREALTOR has stated, there is a glorious rom that has some kinks to be worked out, but as far as acceleration it's a really really huge increase than anything I've loaded into this car before.. I'm very excited to continue working with XRT, and encourage you all to do the same.

I am completely new to tuning and mods and haven't done anything yet (broke and scared but thats for another time) and was wondering do these tunes take place online or do i have to physically go and meet up with a tuner? If i must meet up can somebody suggest a god tuner in CT, Mass is cool too but will require me to wait an extra month or so.

let me know if you ever find out,I want one
I just watched the video in the link and I am now interested to see how it would look as well. Good call!

Can someone assist me in locating a good tuner in CT? I have found one location called "The Shop" but I have had a few people tell me i should stay away from there, however some people just have their own opinions and try to differ others from success. If anyone knows of this place could you please inform me of your experiences.

I have only seen one site offering the 22mm swaybar and I myself was wondering if it would make a big impact or if the 19mm would be enough. I think it was Whitline that was selling the 22 and if i'm not mistaken it came with all new hardware (bushings, and mounts). Please keep us informed of any improvements you find.

I've been looking at a set from rokblox ( I believe that's how it's spelled) that are cheaper and give a different look but I'm not sure if they will fit but they do fit the 10-14 Legacy
