Thanks I can get my hands on two exhaust but without the mid piping. I'm going to grab them while I can.

Does anyone know if the 2014 and the 2015 WRX exhaust is the same?

Both Legacys and Outbacks have a coolant/oil heat exchanger for the CVT fluid. In addition, Outbacks have a secondary air/oil cooler mounted in front of the radiator and A/C condenser, which also requires additional plumbing.
Yes, this is what I am asking about the secondary one fitted on the Outback. I thought maybe the 3.6 Legacy had them as well

Can someone please tell me the part numbers for the CVT cooler I have a 2016 2.5

Car got sold tonight. New owner will be picking it up later in the week.
It's been fun, frustrating at times and met a bunch of new people both on-line and off who I now call my friends.
Thanks for sharing the journey and who knows our paths may cross again in Gen7 or maybe Gen 8
Nice, keep progressing and staying real. Thanks for accepting and helping me.

How much and still available?
-
I see a lot of Legacy's by me most never wave back but I did catch a wave from a BRZ owner the other day in Bridgeport CT on Fairfield ave. Made me go to my dealership and take a look.
-
I was looking at a WRX and the BRZ yesterday and had some serious thoughts but If I found an Forester XT I could afford I might jump on it for a fun ride.

So time has come to end this part of the story and move onto the next chapter of my car life. Car is up for sale to make way for the new set of wheels to be parked in my garage.
At the moment I'll be looking to sell the car complete as-is, however may look to part it out if there's enough interest. Tough thing is to find gen6 guys locally who want the parts.
what would be a possible time frame from part out to pick up of your new ride? if the time allowed I would save a little more for shipping cost of the exhaust. you are running dual exhaust correct?

Trim removal tool?
http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=trim+removal
Thanks, I think that might be it
-
Could somebody please tell me the name of the tool suggested to use installing the trunk side cargo nets? It looks like a forked screwdriver.

WellVisors Window Deflector. Instead of paying $200 for the OEM Deflector, this is $50

What do you mean "run"?
We'll try to help you as best we can, either in this thread (if on topic), or via PM (if off topic).
I was meaning cost. I have heard fluctuations from $600 to $3000. I don't have money just to burn and at the same time I don't want to over stress the engine and shorten it's life too much.
-
Can someone give me a good idea of what a stock tune should run? All I have done at this point is add the K&N drop in and I'm decently impressed so I want more but I'm not trying to go full race tuning or trying to get the max out of the engine. I like to be able to pass and when the person realizes their being passed I don't want to have to punch it and draw to much attention to myself.
-
Exhaust came a few days early. I didn't know I was getting the mufflers but I'm happy I got them. Got it all for $100. I'm leaning towards the Nameless muffler delete but I haven't ordered anything else yet.
If I wanted to buy the hangars(or whatever they're called, the bushings connect the two) for the passenger side, where can I find them. I'm not getting this done at an exhaust shop, I'll be doing this myself.

This would look sick if there is a mod to space for the quad tips, I believe I saw a bumper with a square opening for a 3.6 dual and I wonder if those would fit with a little adjustments?
-
I'm wondering if going full muffler delete on my dual exhaust setup was a mistake. Woke up with a tension headache this morning and after 30 seconds on the highway I realized it wasn't going to be a fun time. With as often as I get tension as well as migraine headaches it can't stay this way.
Does anyone have experience with side branch resonators? If you're not sure what I'm talking about, see the pic below. I've done the audio analysis and calculations to determine it's between 77-80Hz and would require an ~46" tube to do the trick. I'm just not sure how effective it would be.
Other option is I found these on Craigslist, since they're Subaru mufflers my thinking would be they'd have fairly optimal sound characteristics. Hate to spend this much more but I'll do what I have to. http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/5954083289.html
Any thoughts?

I may be able to assist with the headaches,

Got my exhaust done yesterday, it sounds amazing. Final price was $150 however he wasn't able to get tips like I wanted from the supplier he uses. I picked up 2 4" Magnaflow tips on Amazon for $40/ea. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000XQQ1TK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1#HLCXComparisonWidget_feature_div
Kinda disappointing as I had to pay more for tips than he would've at wholesale but oh well. It's gonna look sweet when they're on and $230 overall is a great price imo.
No pics yet cause said tips haven't come in yet so right now I have just bare 2.25" pipes sticking out and it's ugly:lol:
Did you have any issues with one side sticking out more than the other? Can't wait to hear how it sounds
-
I had both rokblox and ra's on my '12 WRX. You get what you pay for is the best way to put it. The rokblox are an extremely hard/inflexible material with cheap hardware that'll rust very badly after exposure to moisture & winter. They also don't have the same clean lines/cuts that the RA's do. I also found the rokblox "curled" after about a year and wasn't impressed by that either. Switched to the RA's, had zero issues and didn't even hesitate to order them for my new Legacy - worth every penny imo.
Experience beats all

So I just passed an Imprezza Sport and noticed it's DRL's were the fogs or separate LED's. Man that looked good I wouldn't mind that feature at all.
