  1. That was the plan! Either find an STI y pipe and extend it or find a WRX mid pipe and weld the end onto my stock y pipe. No way I’m running without a resonator.
  2. Installed the drivers side OEM WRX muffler. Had to trim some plastic with a fresh razor blade but other than that, it bolted up fine. I did have to heat up the hangers on the muffler with a torch and tweak them to get it to fit center, albeit a hair crooked. I'm fine with that though. Has a nice little rumble to it now. I have the passenger side muffler too, so now to keep an eye out for a WRX mid pipe. I have a welder so modifying that will be easy.
  3. Not to mention that is a very narrow tire to be running on that wide of a wheel. You'll have a real stretched look going on there. I'm running 245s on my 8.5" wide wheel, and it looks great.
  4. Without looking into it, I'd imagine it would be super simple. Just unscrew the grocery hooks in the trunk, pull back the liner, and undo some bolts.
  5. From what I understand, they are not plug and play. There are 4 wires that you need to run. Pretty sure Andrew_ls did the install himself as he's a DIY kinda guy.

  7. Noooo. The key is to do thin coats so it doesn't run. I used an entire can and did 4 or 5 coats, and I wish I would have gotten a second can and done a few more.
  8. Eh, taking the bumper off is so easy anyways, and makes everything else super easy to install.
  9. https://www.smyperformance.com/jdm-subaru-sports-grill-2015-legacy-outback.html Here's the only place I know of state side that sells them. Saves you a ton on shipping from Japan.
  10. I'd highly recommend getting the Morimoto fogs then (or a similar LED fog with complete housing). $170 through Amazon and their output is awesome. Running HIDs in the fogs would likely be too hot and the output similar to what you have now. https://www.amazon.com/Morimoto-Type-LED-Projector-Light/dp/B00XA3C2FA/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494805712&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=morimoto+type+t+dogs
  11. My guess is they'd be too hot. Are you running LED bulbs in OEM housings or a full LED housing like the morimotos?
  12. So far the only one I really like is the stock WRX exhaust with our resonator welded on. It's a really nice medium between stock and the typical Subaru grumble.
  13. No, you will rub. You can look at the first page and see this info on the chart.
  14. Whooops. Thought this was "what have you done to your 6th gen today". Got my threads mixed up.
  15. I got in some overlays from emblemoverlays.com today. Where's the pictures you ask? Well, I didn't realize that the front and rear emblems are different sizes. Just never crossed my mind, and at a glance, both overlays looked the same size. I start putting one on the rear only to notice it's too big. No big deal, they sent the wrong size and I'll just trim up the edges with a razor. Go to the front emblem, and realize the overlay is way too small for the front. Ended up ruining everything, and was pretty salty I just pissed away $22. I ordered another set from a different vendor so hopefully that goes smoother.
  16. x2 what leoflds said above. If those clips are in there, then it shouldn't be able to physically pop out. They might have fallen out. If that's the case, these ones on Amazon are great. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZIS9AW8/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  17. What I would do is so it yourself, and just keep your stock anti sway bar. That way you can swap it back in if you need to for warranty work. I highly doubt that anyone would even notice that it's bigger. I can't speak to the 20mm, but the 19mm looks identical to the stock one, just a hair bigger.
  18. You're overthinking it. If you look on the front page, there's a chart of what sizes are ran and if there's any issues. According to the chart, we can run an 18x8 with 38mm offset and be fine, so you'll definitely be fine with a +43mm offset wheel. I would recommend a 245/45r18 size tire though. The 225 will be a little stretched, so the 245 will add some protection to the lip of the wheel.
  19. Looks amazing! How are the tires? Have you put them through their paces yet?
  20. Judging by the bumper removal video above, it looks like it may fit. It appears all the mounting points are the same.
  21. I like them! On the first page, there's a chart of all the sizes that work. There's an 18x8 +38mm offset, and it's fine, so if yours is +40mm, you should also be fine.
  22. I don't know if I'd say plenty of room. I followed that advice, and it took like 30 minutes and I was swearing up a storm. Wish I would've just got out the jack and stands and done it that way.
  23. I definitely think so. I'm very happy with my 19mm, but I wish I would've gotten the 20mm. That's my only recommendation.
  24. I have the 19mm, and it seems to ride harsher over uneven road. It's hard to definitively say because I upgraded it two weeks after buying the car, so I forgot what oem rides like.
  25. You've just got to PM Andrew, the op of this thread and he'll get you set up.
