  1. Yes, the dealership replaced the Transmission Control Module, covered under warranty. Now, i dont know if they did a transmission flush as well, so i might do that soon.
  2. Everyone with a 2015 to 2019 will experience this issue. I’m currently going into a big fight with Subaru in regards to this. Your CVT will have this issue around 100-140k miles
  3. Freezing cold in Canada, surprised that it would get hot in this weather after 5 min of driving. Something strange Thank you
  4. Right after filling up gas...turned car back on..." At Oil Temp" appeared on the dash. Car drives fine. Anybody have this issue before? Seems to be in regards to transmission temperature just searching on google. 100 000 miles on my 2015 Subaru Legacy, I have yet to change the CVT transmission fluid.
  5. The PCV going bad is mostly on the 2.5L turbo motors. The real fix for this is replacing the block or piston rings. Thicker oil might help, problem is Subaru is really really against using different oil than what they want you to use. The solution is for someone to start a complaint with the NTSB and have Subaru extend the warranty like they did previously. If people don’t report it, nothing will be done. I remember on the 2009-2014 models same thing happened, the enhancement oil warranty wasnt extended until much later because people finally complained.
  6. Be ready for it guys 90 000 miles and my 2.5L 2015 Subaru Legacy is burning a quart ever 1000miles Subaru Canada doesn’t seem to want to cover it, even though it falls under the 10 years 160 000km enhanced warranty for 2009-2014 models Sell it while you can
  7. Yeah it just doesn’t make sense to me why the 2015-2020 models wouldn’t qualify
  8. Hi My 2015 Subaru Legacy 2.5L is consuming about 1qt of oil every 1000km ( not miles). It has about 140 000km,I did every service on time. How about you guys ? for some reason my car does not qualify for the oil consumption warranty test https://www.subaru.ca/WebPage.aspx?WebSiteID=282&WebPageID=21674
  9. No it’s not the wrong number It looks to be a Canadian recall
  10. Just had the fix done Exhaust manifold replaced at flex joint
  11. This is a huge thing that Subaru is simply slow to fix because it’s an expensive fix, an entire new exhaust is pretty much required depending on how severe the damage is.
  12. Emission recall WUJ-95 I made an entire thread about it
  13. Yes, this is an emission recall, the cat will rust and leak gas into the cabin. I'm dealing with Subaru right now because they don't have the parts to fix it it but this is a health concern as I drive a toddler in the car. The smell is awful, Subaru is giving me a work around as they don't have the parts yet. Will never buy a Subaru again to be honest, its been a recall for months and still no fix? This is a major concern, this is not something small, gas leaks are serious and my car has been smelling like this for over 2 years but they did nothing about it . Awful service
  14. Funny enough I made a thread few weeks ago saying my legacy has a strong gas smell. Today I received a letter saying a recall in regards to the exhaust pipe cracking and causing a smell Letter dated November 9
  15. Sorry for the late reply guys and I didn’t mean to write C02 lol So sulphuric acid smell is like a rotten eggs smell, this doesn’t smell anything like that. It smells like fumes, like maybe exhaust fumes. The car started burning oil a little bit, acceptable amount but problem has been going even before that. I’m thinking a leak in the catalyst converter or exhaust, I have a 2 year old and it’s starting to bother me so I’m going to take it to my mechanic tomorrow. The battery is old it could also be leaking as well
  16. Hi everyone Every time I drive the car, every 5-10 min a really strong gas/CO2 smell enters the cabin from the vents, even if the AC/climate control is off Anyone have this issue?
  17. Sorry for the late reply. Been very busy . The car is stock height , no lowering suspensions or springs . Was thinking about lowering it but the wife drives it, might not be the best idea . Getting ceramic tints and exhaust tip OEM from subaru ( limited edition one)
  18. Haha thank you To be honest pictures don't do justice . It really makes the car look upscale and gives it a very unique look . The wheels really compliment and match the body shape of the legacy . I had many many compliments and I'm happy with the purchase
  19. 18.5x8.5 wrx st tsurugi special edition rims on 245/45/18 hankooks
  20. To be honest i would get the Nameless for myself but its my wife's car and i don't want it to sound sporty or anything. I just want it to cover the empty ugly hole left on that rear valence. A exhaust tip with some stainless steel touch will surely do the job . Cant believe Subaru didnt make that stainless steel exhaust tip standard
  21. my next upgrade OEM for 30$ , about 50$ at the dealership . http://subaruonlineparts.com/subaru-legacy-stainless-steel-exhaust-p-3641.html
  22. http://www.xenondepot.com/H11-LED-headlight-kit-p/h11-led-hl.htm This is all i need to replace my ugly yellow DRL/nightlight , ( i have the 2.5l non HID projectors headlights) correct ?
