  1. Oh nice! Definitely let me know when you decide to sell it!
  2. I did search eBay and unfortunately found nothing. I figure I'll just stick with the single exhaust for a while. Eventually nameless will get the updated 3.6 versions in stock or I can find a used pair on here. I can always sell my single. Didn't really want to shell out $400 right now to add an extra exhaust anyways haha. And I definitely will be keeping my stock one!
  3. Well, sadly nameless is completely out of 3.6 exhausts until they come out with their new model. So I'm just going to order the 2.5i single delete and call it a day for now. Perhaps it is for the better!
  4. Yeah it will be interesting to see how this affects the low end torque. I'm hoping not too much. Haven't had the car too long. It shouldn't cause any actual damage or engine problems though right?
  5. My plan is to go with the OEM 3.6 midpipe to add the dual nameless exhaust. I wonder if I'll run into the same thing you did with losing some low end torque. I don't think this question ever got answered, but does anyone know if the 3.6 midpipe connects correctly right where the 2.5 one does?
  6. Just got a quote today from a local shop for the y-pipe, two magnaflow mufflers, and tips for around $500. Not a crazy amount but kind of a lot for my budget right now considering I will probably get better sound from just throwing on the single nameless for $250. Plus that keeps everything OEM. But no dual tips
  7. No problem! Thanks so much for all the info!
  8. Okay, thats about the price I was figuring. And yup I just have a cover! Which is what makes it really tempting to put on the dual. Just a bit pricy for me right now. Do you happen to have a link or name of the sport mufflers and stainless tips you got? I really like how they look.
  9. Any idea how much you ended up spending just to convert to a dual (y-pipe, tips, etc.)? Also, the y-pipe that you used was custom right?
  10. Yeah this is exactly what I mean! I know you get the sound benefit. So I guess what I would like to know is there any sort of performance benefit and does the tip/muffler look noticeably better than the stock?
  11. Haha exactly! So your nameless was definitely worth the upgrade over the stock I'm assuming?
  12. Yeah that is insane! My buddy's idea is to do the single nameless and then put on some sort of fake second exhaust just for looks. However, I've never been really a fan of fakes but I'm more of a fan of saving $500 haha.
  13. My impression is that 44200 would bolt right up into the cat. I just really want the dual look, but I know it's going to be expensive this way. So even if this all works, I will probably have to end up going with the single nameless anyways. If I order Part 44200 through my local Subaru dealer it's $170 and then the dual nameless is $450. So all together just for parts it's going to be at least $700...
  14. Yes, exactly. That is why I asked if replacing the single exit pipe that is on there now with Part 44200 would solve this issue. Part 44200 gives you the y-connector that seems like it would allow you to put on the dual exhaust.
  15. Hey guys! I know there are some past threads on the topic, but I could not find any of them with a solution. Has anyone put a dual exhaust on their 2.5i or know of a way? I definitely want to upgrade to the nameless exhaust, but I also love the look of the dual tips. Any suggestions? Thanks! My idea: http://parts.subaru.com/images/parts/subaru/fullsize/B15_44001580.png Above is a picture of the rear exhaust for the 3.6. My idea is to use part 44200 (as well as the gaskets and such). Then get the 3.6 dual nameless exhaust and connect it just like you would on the 3.6. It seems that the only thing missing on my 2.5i is the piece near the rear bumper that the hanger of the second exhaust attaches to. Does this idea seem feasible? Would there be issues doing this with the 2.5 engine? Also, I assume you could get a cheaper part similar to 44200 custom made, but it is mainly the idea I'm concerned about.
