  1. So upon inspecting my JDM Spec B nose cut (got it dirt cheap), I noticed that the fender liners are the same as the GT except that there is an added extension riveted to it to cover the slightly wider/longer bumper underside. PN 59120AG120 & 59120AG130.
  2. Late to the party but here is today's hoard from my local JDM importer. Got a complete nose cut and removed everything that I would be using: Spec B bumper, upper and lower bumper brackets, fogs, horn, headlights, radiator (spare). Since it is a nose cut, I get all the electrical connectors to rewire the lights.
  3. You can add me here. Still have my wagon with 137,000 miles.
  4. Same front passenger side boot torn again after almost 5 years....not too bad Need to order parts and do this all over again

  6. Or an 08+ STi. On a separate note, anyone with a swap also running Cobb DP and Perrin mid pipe? My midpipe is hitting the carrier bearing and is giving me some clunk especially on high torque situations. I am thinking of GrN trans mount to minimize the tranny (and DP) movement . Also having the pipe flattened a bit to avoid hitting the carrier bearing.
  7. see the attachment in my post here http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4470783&postcount=1340 this should tell you what you need for transmission and diff combinations. As long as the FD matches, regardless of year, your should be fine. So if you go R180, use spec B half shaft, R160 use existing.
  8. FWIW I am using a matching transmission and diff from a 2009 STi. I even used the STi tranmission cross member & mounts and the aluminum diff cradle.
  9. Hmmm didn't know that. I have always thought sedan to sedan, wagon to wagon. Anyway, my ebay search is cheaper
  10. ^ that is a wagon, he needs sedan 2.5i 4EAT http://www.ebay.com/itm/2005-2009-LEGACY-REAR-DRIVE-SHAFT-/190803567014?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ALegacy&hash=item2c6cc761a6&vxp=mtr
  11. not a LGT http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2192011&highlight=dccdpro
  12. Thanks. I made a template on a cardboard to line both switches as close as possible. The hole I made was a bit small so the switches are really tight. I might file them down a bit more to make a better alignment (kinda slanted a bit). The TPS tap I think is the most challenging. There are a bunch of wires in there and it was pretty hard to isolate the yellow/red for the tap.
  13. DCCDPro is in http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x6/Lukipooh/IMAG0071.jpg
  14. Yes please! I had to flip through different threads when I was doing mine
  15. Here's a chart made by Rallispec on various 6MT & 5MT cases. Hope this helps future 6MT swappers.Transmission ID Chart_Public.pdf
  16. For non-limited GT's, is there a wiring harness already under the seat to plug in the leather power seats?
  17. Nope, that is stock 08+ STi. Now makes me wonder if the 08+ STi has a shorter stick than the 07+ Spec B Anyway, I am glad it came out the way it did. DCCD will come in next week.
  18. So it is done! 08+ STi shifter perfectly centered http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x6/Lukipooh/IMAG0068.jpg I went a different route on the rubber and leather boot. Instead of cutting it by 1" like how hammerdown did, I lengthened the cross slit on top by an inch to get both through the shifter. I secured the rubber boot with zip tie and the leather boot with silicone band (for cooking) from the inside. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x6/Lukipooh/IMAG0065.jpg
  19. NVM, it is for both. I have to check if it is attached to the tranny when I swing by Andrewtech later, otherwise I have to order it. Good thing it is cheap. Thanks.
  20. Is this a Spec B part or an STi?
  21. Finally got everything. Transmission (09 STi) is at Andrewtech getting Spec B 5th and 6th gears. DCCDPro will have to wait a little bit. http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x6/Lukipooh/IMAG0054.jpg 06 Outback 4EAT driveshaft OEM 6MT FW (resurfaced) OEM 6MT PP 09 STI rear diff & cradle 07+ Spec B axles OEM 6MT Slave Cylinder OEM 6MT clutch disc OEM 6MT TOB 08+ STi shifter assembly OEM 6MT shift knob
  22. Tranny picked up, ready for delivery to Andrewtech tomorrow for 5&6 re-gear http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x6/Lukipooh/IMAG0048-1.jpg
  23. Are the slave cylinders the same for all years?
  24. Thx man! With regards to driveshaft, Legacy or Outback does not matter as long as it is 4EAT wagon right?
