My rattle was coming from the turbo heat shield. A bracket had rusted thru and the metal on metal vibration caused an annoying noise. I jammed some exhaust wrap tape in between and it eliminated it ever since.

Two guys in a new dark blue STI with Cobb stickers pulled up next to me at red light last night. The driver was even wearing a Cobb hat, he rolled down the window and said "Is that a Legacy GT? Iv never seen one from that generation, nice." Then the light turned green and I totally left him in the dust, lol.

Got her back from the body shop on Friday after work. They did a really nice job, shes right back to normal. The customer service was great too, they kept me updated throughout the entire process.

Wow, I thought 7-10 business days was too long, but 3-12 weeks thats just ridiculous.

Yea thats exactly what I did there was no way in hell I was waiting until they determined fault to get the repairs underway. I couldn't stand seeing my LGT in that condition.

The estimate is $4900 and they expect i will have it back in about 13 days. I had to put the claim thru my insurance because his insurance could not accept liability without the police report, which the officer said would take 7 to 10 business days before its ready, or without speaking to the driver and him admitting fault and that he was ticketed at the scene. The accident happened Monday, i got a call from an agent from his insurance company who was assigned to the claim and he said has not yet been able to reach the other driver. Just great.

Its especially a bummer when it not your fault. Everyone is always in such a rush nowadays, what happened yesterday should've never happened, I had a green turning arrow for god sake. His expedition didnt even have a scratch on it, the extent of his damage was his license plate falling off.

On my way home from work yesterday, about 2 minutes from home, a knucklehead in a giant ford expedition decides to pull out way too early and clipped the whole passenger side rear of my beloved LGT. He was issued a failure to yield ticket, so no fault here, now just have to wait and see how his insurance (Progressive) will handle it

My passenger side door makes that hollow thud sound, I was honestly thinking the previous owner was dishonest about the accident history and the sound was from the vehicle being repaired in some way. So, clear it up for me, whats up with that hollow thud sound?

It really kind of bothers me that the 4th gens got the turn signal in the side mirrors and 5th gens didn't, why would they take an accessory away like is beyond me

New set of tires, BFG Comp 2-A/S 225/45R18

this pisses me off, I had always heard mixed feedback about this shop, I would have never used them but my issue was that I had a giant nail in one of my tires and the air was leaking out so fast I could actually hear it, luckily i made it to a Wawa in time to get add some air before it was completely flat and then this particular shop was the closest to where I was so I had to drop it off before the tire went flat again. If I get the bolts and take it back do you think they should be obligated to re do the alignment free of charge?

They claimed that they couldnt get it right because i was in need of new camber bolts

Nice I have always been tempted to do that. No one seems to want to buy my stocks from the classifieds so maybe next winter I'll give it a try

I didnt ask for anymore advice here, I just wanted to move it into the appropriate thread so my experience is documented for others in the correct location. Its not lowered, Im on stock suspension only change is 20 mm rsb

Had new tires mounted and balanced over the weekend and got an alignment as well. Shop said they couldnt get camber dialed in on the front passenger side and that I needed new camber bolts.

Does anyone else have this issue where that tiny little button near the pocket of your jeans catches the seat bolster whenever you exit the car? Iv noticed mine catches and its actually starting to cause a little tear on the seat. With that said, Im not sure Id want to make the bolster any larger or that damn Levis button is gonna catch even worse

Pulling into the gas station this morning a flat brimmer is at the pump already in a decked out 07 WRB WRX with SUBIEFLOW in big white letters across the top of his windshield. As I drove passed him he put his arms up and shook his head with the "WTF is that?" look on his face. As I went by I saw him looking in his rear view trying to see my trunk badges I guess. When he was finished filling up he pulled next to me and said, "Dude, thats awesome, what kind of Legacy is that?

Occupation: Parts Manager for Large fleet (School Buses, Motor Coaches, Trackless Trolley Cars and Minivans) Mods: Cobb Stage 1 91 OTS Flash, 18" ROTA MXR Wheels Second Subaru, just upgraded from a 2002 LGT Limited Timberline Green Pearl/Tan leather(sale pending). Have only had the 2010 about three weeks just ordered shifter bushings and RSB upgrade soon to come. So attached to the 2002, I really contemplated just keeping it, but instead gonna use the money for mods!
