  1. Well if you decide you’re gona try and find a GT to buy, let me know. I have been considering getting rid of mine and If I do let her go I atleast want to see it go to someone in the community.
  2. does anyone have an oem passenger side rear mudflap they would like to sell me?
  3. I really do not understand why they wont bring the Levorg to the States.
  4. Id have to agree with the other son the shift stop not doing much as well. Get the Boomba short shift after plate. It made a huge difference in shortening the shift throws and unlike the other brands, the Boomba version is more similar to original plate in that it is counterweighted.
  5. Yea the all season are definitely way louder than summers at higher speeds. I have the BFG comp 2 AS and one point I swear i couldn't tell if it was the tires or a wheel bearing went bad.
  6. Where Im at in Jersey, they dont bother you on the 65 speed limit highways, unless you break 80 mph.
  7. same people are always shocked when I tell them its a 2010, especially the guys at the inspection station, they thought I was lieing or just didn't know what year my own car is
  8. I dont know for sure that the PCV made the rear main start to leak, but as a precaution its cheaper and much easier to replace that than have to drop your trans and get into all that bullshit for the RMS. Im right around 115k and i did take a bit of a road trip about two weeks ago up to New Hampshire, 6-7 hours each way, don't know if the long drive hours contributed to any of it. Just wanted the community to be aware, the RMS is a pretty big repair and if there is anyway to avoid a failure, I would want the community to know.
  9. At my old job, I used to order parts to maintain a fleet for a transportation company, so I use the head mechanic there for everything I need. He lets me buy the parts myself and charges me for his hours. He handled it all for me so I'm not certain, but I can tell you he said he had to remove the intercooler to get it.
  10. So just a heads up to everyone, if you haven't ever replaced your PCV valve it may be a good idea to do it. My rear main seal went out over the weekend and according to my mechanic if your PCV valve fails it can cause pressure to build to up and seals to fail. Unfortunately in my case it chose to come out of the rear main, but who knows maybe it could have been prevented by replacing a $14 PCV valve. (part # 11810AA090)
  11. Thats weird me too, I took mine home April 2nd, 2016. 2010 with 78k paid $14000 and on my two year anniversary she was in the shop, oil coming from rear main seal or oil separator plate. I should know exactly where today. Mechanic said when your PCV valve goes it can cause pressure to build up and seals can leak. We'll see...
  12. I hope it's something that's an easier fix, I'll know more tomorrow. the car was running fine no warning lights, just could smell the oil burning on the hot exhaust and then i could see some puddled on the skid plate or splash guard whatever ya call it
  13. super bummed right now fellas, pretty sure my rear main seal jist went out tonight. On a very short drive home from my girls parents after Easter dinner I started smelling something burning. Made it home in about 5 mins and after further inspection I find oil layin on my skid and splashed all over the exhaust directly behind the motor. such a bummer
  14. I really wish we got those LGT wagons here in the states, they even have the blinkers in the side mirrors #not fair
  15. I'm still on stock clutch at jus over 115k. How long has everyones lasted?
  16. Yea, it did turn out nice right, I actually got it blown up to poster size for myself and my two buddies I was with.
  17. Was up in New Hampshire over the weekend, snowboarding at Attitash. Snapped a nice pic of Mt. Washington, but forgot to get one with my car in it.
  18. I'll join the club and update mine since I made career change since I last posted here. 30 yr old male from Southern New Jersey not married yet nor do I have children I am a project manager and estimator for a commercial door and hardware company. 2010 LGT Limited my first was a 2002 LGT Limited, hopefully still running somewhere. I also still have my first vehicle ever a 92 Nissan Hardbody 2.4L 5mt 4x4, it jus wont die. Other interests: surfing, snowboarding, basketball, foodie
  19. So the weather has been kinda crazy here in southern New Jersey lately. One day torrential down pours the next its beautiful in the 60s then back down in the 20s with snow. Alot of this moisture and fluctuating temperatures and all the sudden I notice a ton of moisture in one of my headlights. Such a bummer, does anyone have any easy fixes to get rid of it?
  20. Also, IIRC the mileage was around the same and this was at least a year and a half ago.
  21. im certain I saw this car for sale in New York when I was shopping for my 5th gen gt. it had jdm front end vinyl black and a single exhaust. It also had these onnoxious red rims on it at the time. The seller had claimed he was selling it for a friend said exisiting exhaust was no longer around and couldnt answer any questions. Low mileage sounded great but I passed on it.
  22. Too bad that San Fran pic is with the Fozz, or that would be a solid calendar submission
