I bought and just installed the iJDMTOY LED plug and play bulbs with resistors. Easy install, less than 10 minutes. Here is a video of the before and after. Not a huge difference but the LED's are definitely brighter and fill up the housing with light better.

I would have expected Nav updates to be good for the life of the warranty but that would not appear to be the case. If any, how many free updates is a new owner entitled to?

My car is still under warranty and I asked about getting a Nav update and I was told no way, have to buy it.

One last video of the C-Lights without the headlights on. Shows how signal lights will look. They are a much brighter yellow in person.

Night time video of the lights and I removed the original signal light bulbs. The brightness of the lights kind of washed out the video but it gives you an idea of the brightness.

But I agree - disable the OEM halogen turn signals

 

And perhaps put white LED bulbs in there and use them as additional DRLs?

The first pic shows the daylight setup. The C-Lights come on and my high beams come on as my DRL. I replaced the halogen high beams with LED's, so they are very bright! No need to add more light for daytime use

Got the C-Lights installed today. Don't have a before pic but here they are installed. Much brighter than the stock C-Lights.

Here is a video showing the C-Lights as turn signals. The installer left the old signals hooked up but I don't like the old signals working with the C-Lights, so I am going to get the old signals disabled. Tell me what you think.

Hang in there buddy! I paid my authorized dealer for the C-Light kit at the end of May so he could order them. I found out they still haven't been shipped yet by Diode Dynamics

Hopefully I get them installed in July.

I got in some overlays from emblemoverlays.com today. Where's the pictures you ask? Well, I didn't realize that the front and rear emblems are different sizes. Just never crossed my mind, and at a glance, both overlays looked the same size. I start putting one on the rear only to notice it's too big. No big deal, they sent the wrong size and I'll just trim up the edges with a razor. Go to the front emblem, and realize the overlay is way too small for the front. Ended up ruining everything, and was pretty salty I just pissed away $22. I ordered another set from a different vendor so hopefully that goes smoother.

I'm a bit confused. As I understand it, the C lights are not for the trunk, so don't follow how this applies to my situation. I'm looking for a single LED that replaces the bulb for the trunk, and fits in the space under the cover without needing any modifications.

Did you see my suggestion?

Thanks. That looks really bright. I think she's not looking for something that ambitious at this point, just a simple LED replacement for the dim bulb. Do you have any recommendation?

I have this LED for the trunk. Get the cool white (6000K) with the HP5 (92 lumens) and you will be very happy. Check the photos on the link.

Will the XML2 bulbs fit in my 2015 Legacy 2.5 Limited (plug and play)?

^^^ I agree, VERY happy with my NAV.

 

Although while I am driving, I've attempted to use voice commands to enter an address. It ALWAYS fails. I follow the prompts, wait for the beep and speak the address clearly and at a normal rate of speech. Then it comes up with the same two address, both 100 blah blah st in different states. I don't get what I am doing wrong and it's pretty frustrating!

Glad I am not the only one. It never works for me either. I have tried many different addresses that I know are correct and I speak slowly and clearly and it brings back two or three choices that are not even in my city. I say the address, city, and Province just like the sample they show, but never works. Frustrating as hell.
