  1. Decided to go out for a slice of pizza; ended up spending two hours at Wawa trying to get my TPMS light to go away only to have the police follow me home. All of this on a empty stomach, I was ready to start crying like a baby.

Side note: vortex generator came in the mail and I decided to go with a carbon fiber version of the Subaru Impreza rear spoiler.

Can we see that spoiler once you install it?

  2. Airllen aka KS Racing aka KSport aka AirMext.

Just got the car back today. Looks like it's working again. I made them make me a new carpeted MDF board and clean up the lines and cabling.

I've had a few issues with the controller, bags and ECU (and they've replaced it) but hopefully for now all is well.

Note I had to get a 40mm lowered BRZ rear lower control arm to fit double bellow bags on the rear.

What wheels are those on the Eye Spy car?

  3. I have a 2015 Legacy 3.6r. I believe the headlights are already LED. I would like to change the fog lights to LED as well as the reverse lights and interior lights. Any recommendations or thoughts?

Yes, go to Diode Dynamics website and get their lights. Best on the market imo. I got their LED high beams, all inside lights, trunk light, license plate lights, and the C-Light switchback LED halos:

  4. My Samsung S10+ connects to my Legacy via bluetooth every time I start my car. Everything was fine until today.

Two days ago my Samsung did a software update. Now, when I get into my car as soon as the phone connects, the screen shows a call being made to my cell phone number. I have to hang up the call on the Subaru screen to get back to my map or music. It does this every time I get in the car now.

I tried unpairing and pairing again and it keeps doing this... argggg :nono:

Has this happened to anyone else and if so, is there a solution??

    Any help is much appreciated.

  5. Thanks to everyone. Somehow I never thought of checking YouTube! This one covers it!

YouTube is always a great source! Does this video work with your map lights? This is pretty much how I removed and replaced my lights. When you said your '19 map lights were hinged, I imagined them popping out on one side only and then be still attached somehow on the other side.

  6. I guess nobody understands what the reading/map lights near the rearview mirror are like on a '19 3.6R. The lenses are kind of hinged and you push down on one side to turn the lights on/off. I can't pry the lens our because they are hinged on one side, and I can guarantee you that something will break even if I could get a tool in there. I did get part of the housing off (where the sunroof switches are) but that doesn't help to get to the bulbs.

I dunno man. The manual makes it sound simple. They should pry open with a tool or screwdriver. This is right from the manual for a 19 Legacy..

  7. What did I do to my 19 Legacy 3.6 today?

I said good-bye and accepted the settlement offer from USAA from it getting totaled Monday. (It took 'em 4 days to schedule and perform the appraisal and write up the settlement)

I filed the claim through my own insurance who will subrogate it to Nationwide, the other driver's insurance, who already accepted liability.

Their driver was ticketed for running a Stop and failure to yield, (Dash Cam FTW!) and he actually told the officer, "I really misjudged that!

Did they write it off? Looks to me that'll buff right out!!!

But seriously, glad you're ok. Myself, I'm looking at the Crosstrek Hybrid. For the little driving I do in the city, I would be on electric power most of the time and I kinda like that idea.

  8. +1

    What's wrong with your '15?

Absolutely nothing. It's been a great car. I'm not worried about payments; I've handled the payments on this car easily over the last 5 years and with the sale or trade of my '15 plus some extra cash thrown in I expect the payments to be roughly the same.

With the driving I do, I like the idea of having a hybrid. I don't do a lot of driving and my trips I do in the city are less than 20 miles a day. Therefore I expect to be on electric power constantly except for the times I am on vacation and therefore the need for the long range of a gas engine instead of a full EV.

Plus, I always buy a new car every 5 years or so.

  9. How long would you expect the battery to last in a 2015 Legacy?

I just drove home on Thursday from a 1500 mile trip. On Friday I went out to get some groceries; no issues with the car starting. Today I went to start it and the battery was dead. Currently on a tender to see if I can get it going again.
