our car still has the potential for some sportiness. the main part to me is weight control since it weighs a little under 2 tons. so an antigravity battery to pull weight from the front and a stiffer rear sway bar is a good start
-
ya the touring trim has auto folding mirrors, ac front seats and heated back seats
-
Bridgestone potenza RE-71R is the only tire ill buy but they've discontinued them after they came out with the RE-71RS and I haven't bought those yet.

Has anyone tried the JB4 piggy back tuner yet? or any tuner for that matter?
-
now that I think about it, every trailer hitch that I've ever seen on a legacy always said uhaul on it.
-
oooh gotcha, I'd go to the dealer for that. subaru makes them for their own
-
I've had a similar issue with my 22 Touring XT but I thought it was a misfire. I'll be doing around 40-45mph, at cruising speed, giving it just enough throttle to keep speed, maybe a little less. and randomly it feels like powered is cut for less then a second, and it'll happen for a few quick chugs and then back to normal. for the first 5k miles it was only after a cold start but now it's after its warmed up and been driven for a bit.

I think I recall reading in the owners manual that the 7th gen legacy has zero towing capability. the cvt wasn't tuned for it
-
so I tried the throttle recalibration twice and haven't felt any change what so ever. is it suppose to make any drastic improvement like I was thinking? would it be better to just get the peddle commander? has anyone even tried a peddle commander on their Legacy XT?

I spoke to the parts department and they said the swaybar from an outback will be a direct fit for the legacy. so there's always the swaybar upgrade option.
-
I spoke to the dealer and they said the outback sway bar is a direct bolt on for the outback. does anyone know what what would be a good diameter width?
-
so I just saw this in the 6th gen outback forum. I haven't tried it but I figured I'd post it. supposedly it fixes the jerky throttle issue and makes it more linear

I know how to deactivate the front seat belt chime with the 20 clicks in 30 seconds trick...but it doesn't turn off the back seat belt. and that's where I'm carrying heavy stuff
-
has anyone found any lowering kits yet? I'd like to drop the front a few inches since it seems to sit higher then the back
-
I haven't found any body panels of any type specifically made for the 7th gen legacy yet. has anyone else had any luck?

so I ordered these diamond car mats and I am more then impressed. the carpet under the mats like to eat sand and it's a pain to get it out so hopefully they help. the all weather floor mats fit on top, but just. I also slapped on some 245/45R18 Potenza RE-71R on the stock rims and they're gripping gorgeously.

so time to bump this up. I noticed that my 2022 XT Touring has this sensor on my back seats as well. and unfortunately, doing the 20 click method does not disable those even though the fronts are. any update on this?

I just picked up a new 2022 Legacy Touring XT a month ago and I wish I had waited. the issues that I have with the infotainment system are getting fixed and it looks like the top opening of the grill that feeds the intercooler looks larger and more efficient. personally I like the new grill. itll look better when it gets lowered then my 2022

what is it about this upgrade that adds in the speed volume setting?
-
...that's great and all...but that's not helping us on this 7th gen page where none of us can find a rear sway bar upgrade
-
The whiteline anti sway bar kit F&R and AVO rear stiffener mount was bar none one of the best mods I've ever placed on this chassis. Transforms the car!
what year vehicle did you put them on? and do you have the part number for those?
-
extra wide tires aren't going to add more grip without modifying suspension to support them. Putting 225 re-71 on your stock rims would be way more sticky than your normal tires.
The RE-71R are 245/45...and anything has to be more grippy then the 225/50 advan gt that the car comes with. those things straight suck for cornering hard. too much squish in those.
-
so im thinking of ordering a set of, Volk Racing CE28SL 18x9.5 5x114.3 +45mm Pressed Graphite, which are only 15.6 lbs. that should drop a good amount of unsprung weight. even if I go with a set of 275/40R18. I'm hoping this'll be a good grippy set up. any thoughts? should I stick on the 245/45R18 Potenza RE-71R instead for I small stretched look since I already have them?
