alot less work going tmic
It is less work but it also gets in the way. I've replaced my pitchmount three times. I sure was glad I have a fmic then.

Curious what folks think about installing the dog bones and still maintaining proper angle for the bushings.
I installed both while the rear shocks were out. The suspension was in a relaxed state but then I got to wondering whether or not they should be torqued with the weight of the vehicle on them...?
I am otherwise one steering knuckle and two frozen rear toe adjustments away from salvation!
I torqued with the full weight on.

I put this in News and Rumors too.
Some 3 and 6 ton HF jack stands are being recalled. I am sure there are people here who have them (I own both kinds).
Article (one of many, google others):
Official notice from HF (PDF doc):

Be safe out there folks.
I own some and I've been under the car with them.... Thanks a lot Harbor Freight for risking my life.

Type, brand, size and mileages of injectors?
DW1300cc injectors. I had them flow tested and cleaned 15k ago or so, I guess I should note I run E85 95% of the time. The car gets driven at least 5 times a week 30-40 miles each time.

So.... I have a tuning appointment this coming Monday and I'm already cutting it close with waiting on additional parts to arrive so I can finish the fuel rail installation. Now I'm debating sending the injectors out to get flow tested and cleaned while everything is apart. The vendor quoted a 24 to 48 hr turnaround time.
Should I risk it? Three of the injector tips looked clean, one had some browning (Cylinder 4 go figure).

Looks like the spirit of Mr.Hicksta is alive and well. Although he would have put a hole in something really expensive too.

Typical Spec B fashion.....
While removing the oem fuel rails I proceeded to attempt removing one of the Valve duty Solenoid hoses from the rail only to have both plastic nipples on the solenoid break off.
I also had to modify the oem injector plugs to clear the IAG rails. One of the injectors o-rings broke in two while pushing the injector unto the rail, and yes I had greased the o-ring and fuel rail. Thankfully I had a spare one. I'm using DW1300cc injectors which AIG does not indicate will work with their rails so no harm no foul.
Story is now to be continued...

Spent 2.5 hrs removing the intake manifold. Tomorrow the oem fuel rails get replaced with IAG variants and custom fuel lines. Once removed I realized it would be super easy to install the Dom cooling mod but that would mean the car won't be back on the road Monday like I wanted. Decisions, decisions.

It's taken me over a month to get all the parts I need to replace my fuel rails along with the fuel lines. That is assuming the last remaining fittings actually arrive today.

I really want to, but cannot swing $1k for header regardless of how good they are...
I paid more than that for mine.... Then again I also have a Stromung exhaust I paid $1,000 for

Really considering getting on the KillerB sale and going ELH.... hmmmm
I absolutely love my Killer B Holy Header

Absolutely - should have the pulley in my hands Friday so I can finalize dimensions and PM it to you then. I plan to oversize the holes 1/16" for a little play. Not sure the exact bolt size and thread on the pulley but it looks to be 3/8"-24 (can confirm this, too on Friday). DWG file okay?
DWG file works.
Thanks

Working up a quick Fluidampr install tool. I'm going to confirm dimensions once I have the real thing here. Figure I'll burn it out of 3/8" thick 304 stainless on our plasma machine.
Would you mind sharing the file once done. I'll do the same here at work.

Take the timing cover off. It's super easy and will save the headache of cleaning plastic shavings out. I use the dremel with a plastic cutting wheel and then just cleaned up the cut surface and interior of the timing cover.I just did this - there was no way I would have been able to do a clean job without removing the cover.
How much needs to be trimmed?

Straighten my steering wheel which was pointing slightly to the left after the alignment.
Drained the Mobil 1 Delvac from the transmission after trying it for a thousand miles and swapped it for Motul 300. The transmission drain plug stripped (of course) but I was prepared already with a brand new one in hand.
For those interested, I had no issues with the Mobil 1 Delvac. In fact in the thousand miles I had it a noticeable difference was felt when shifting from 4th to 5th when boosting anything over 14 psi or so. To clarify I didn't have a grind per say but I could feel the synchro needed a little longer to catch if that makes sense.
Let's see what a 1,000 miles on Motul feels like. As of my short drive to work today (14 Miles) I'd argue that Mobil 1 Delvac is most definitely a viable option. Specially considering the price difference. In fact I left the Delvac in my rear diff alone.

0.0 I saw 93 for 1.20 a gallon yesterday
I wish!

I also filled up with e85 that is still reading e68 on the AP. I was hoping to see a better ethanol content but I guess summer isn’t quite here. E85 was $2.10/ gal and 93oct would’ve been $2.80/gal.
E85 here at my station of choice (Chevron) is currently at 74% content. It's $1.85/gallon vs 91 Octane at $3.25/gallon. Costco 91 octane is cheaper at $2.75/gallon.

Paint color says Whiteline to me, but not sure.
Agree

Replaced the slow leaking driver side axle seal. Drained the OEM transmission fluid and replaced it with Mobil 1 Delvac 75w-90.

I have the Gen 1 which was made with stainless steel vs titanium. Mine has no bearing. It made a huge improvement as far as feel and side to side play while in gear. It will introduce some slight vibration but nothing too bothersome. I do have to point out I installed one of these at the same time. I also have all other shifter bushings replaced.

Yep, they work on both sedan or wagon with no modifications needed.
Check PM

Would these work on a sedan? I'm assuming they are the wagon variant?
Thanks

IIrc I pulled the rear diff from Gabes car twice, and replaced the housing cover gasket twice.
I believe it was an odd noise that caused the first removal. I disassembled, fully inspected and reassembled after finding nothing that needed to be replaced. Gabe brought it back after maybe 100 miles and had a new odd noise. Same procedure again with nothing more than a gasket and fluid and never another issue. I chalked it up to being a micron off on the mesh as there was once again no visible damage or anything even close to out of spec.
Yeah, that was bonkers, and you were great about it Mike. The noise never came back, thank God.

I've never had issues with boost leaks, then again I bought my ETS setup new.
