  1. Internet censorship is a really complicated thing. It’s too easy to spread misinformation now a days. This is why places that want to start new with no censorship or moderation quickly go out of business. I’m not going to get political here but you can search for the usual suspect.
  2. moderna is coming under flack for causing rare heart disease for men under 30.

not a medical journal. Science still working on details while news makes it look bad.

I am all for news but it lost me at vaxxed.

Looking at what this publication is I found their Wikipedia page: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Western_Journal

Of course all “vax” are bad.

Please be careful what source you cite. Someone may take it seriously.

I’m not a moderator just calling it how I see it.

  3. I'm back. :)

According to county health department, Im cured. Going for a retest in a few days to be sure, but I feel better. My wife's family has only 2 sick and both are nearly well.

We still don't know how we got infected.

Wife has a lingering cough but it negative on retest. I have lingering fatigue but a recently detected heart issue causes the same symptom, so maybe benign?

Good news! The vaccine does keep you out of the hospital. I hear you still get bad symptoms like a bad flu.

  4. So my results just came. I have covid. And it's abnormal. So guessing I have delta or some other mutation.

Each day has been worse. yesterday huskies & I managed 5 miles at a slow walk only stopping once. Didn't sleep much at night. Today I feel like a weight is on my chest and wheezing. Still having itchyness and other allergy symptoms.

I chew a stick of gum every day now as a test for taste/smell. It's normally a strong flavor. Now its just the mechanics.

    Heading out for a walk.

for the naysayers, come visit. I'll see yer bs and raise you the denial of your vent.

If I end up in the hospital...

I had the original Covid and it sucked. I feel like my respiratory system is more compromised now. Anyway I know his sounds like an old remedy but what really helped by breathing was rubbing vap-o-rub underneath my nostrils. Like on top of my upper lip. For me the menthol really helped even though inc look kid not smell it.

I really hope you get better. Maybe look for monoclonal treatment?

Sending you good thoughts and that you and your wife come out good out of this!!

  5. Subaru is pretty good about honoring warranties, the dealer you go to is another story. Just remember they are not Subaru of America they are an independently owned franchise. I have heard both good experiences with this issue and bad, your best bet is to find dealer reviews and see if there is a well reviewed service center near you. You could also contact SOA directly first and see where that gets you, I would do it sooner rather than later.

And this is due to the fixed amount of money they get for doing warranty work. Some dealerships see it as a lost.

  6. mil passed away sunday. in the ensuing family drama, it turns out one of the family had covid and nearly everyone has a cold. not everyone is vaccinated. so now we're testing test facilities and strength of vaccination.

bil tested on monday, resulted positive wednesday

his wife tested wednesday, resulted inconclusive today.

both used a swab yourself facility. going back in for professional testing today.

me? spent quality time with the "lost my sense of smell/taste a few days ago" bil.

my wife wasn't sick before but now is. we're hoping its a cold.

we went to a professional test facility yesterday. anxiously waiting on results. quarantining in our house.

Searching for at-home treatments. and trying to not freak out. :)

That sucks! I had Covid in March. I lost my sense of smell/taste fro two weeks. Had some joint pains and a slight headache. I had the vaccine 90 days later. Only thing is that I have been prone to more allergies since I got Covid. I never suffered from allergies.

Hope for the best for you and your family.

  7. The pressure from my wife (father in-law is getting upset and putting the pressure on my wife). My god he is getting a FREE vehicle (I paid for everything). The driver just text me and said it will arrive in 1 hour. I understand his frustration. The vehicle suppose to be deliver since yesterday. Oh well soon I need to transfer the money to the driver.

All I ask for him to transfer the title to his name and get Texas plates and send me my plates back so I can cut the insurance off and return my plates back.

Dollars to donuts the first thing your FIL will do is go pick up the boys and go on a raging cruise to knock down mailboxes and show the boys across the tracks who is faster...with your plates still on the car. :spin:

  8. The comment section is pure gold. All the anecdotal stories of a brothers cousin’s sister in law father who got drugs sneaked into the hospital to a dying relative and they are 120% now!

Like you can just waltz into a Covid floor and give medicine to people without anyone noticing!!!
