I just bought a set of those enkei sti wheels from one of the importers and they came with some curb rash. Do you happen to know the paint or a close match? Probably gonna sand and prep myself then have a shop colormatch, but I am worried they won't be able to get a big enough sample with the inside barrels being a different color.

So, its emission inspection time...

It seems like thats the route I will have to go. I just picked up a specb from a state that doesnt require emissions and took need to get it inspected in pa. Just trying to figure out the best way to go about it for 1 year before i qualify for emissions exempt at <5000 mi/year -
So I just picked up an 08 Spec.B from Nashville. I live in PA and will need 1 emissions pass before I am eligible for an exempt sticker. "Vehicles will be exempt from the program if: • the vehicle has been owned for one year and driven less than 5,000 miles in the prior year" I emailed the tuner about his thoughts as the car was pa owned when tuned by him at IAG. I just wanted to gather your thoughts on the best course of action to obtain an emissions sticker. I would prefer to not have to buy a catted exhaust and am worried that even if I do I would have to buy other mods and a tune to pass 1 year of PA emissions. In my county I am required to have the gas cap test and OBD2 Test. Currently no CEL but from my limited research I am concerned about readiness checks. The mods are as follows: 08 Spec.B Base Map Reflashed: Yes PDI: No Code Deletes: tgv and Air pump Engine: IAG Built Management: V3 Fuel: 93 Speed Density/MAF: MAF Map Sensor: OEM Injectors: ID 1000 Fuel Pump: Walbro Intake: Cobb Inlet: Perrin Turbo: 440xt Intercooler: Perrin TMIC Exhaust: Invidia Catless Boost Control: Grimmspeed Spark Plugs: One Step AOS: IAG Comp Clutch: ACT HDSS Thanks!

I need the hood as well, but I suppose that could be bought separately. I recently bought a spec b that has minor damage to the hood, light, grill, bumper, and upper rad support. I also like the mesh style bezels surrounding the fog lights more than on the 3.0. -

Hi everyone, I currently own an 09 2.5i 4at but have been periodically browsing the internet for clean GTs. I recently found one and want to make sure I can check out the known issues that these cars can have. What specifically should I be looking for before going further. The car is a Bronze 08 lgt with ~78k miles and is listed for 9500. I feel like that is a fair price if everything checks out mechanically. What do you guys think? Here is the carfax listed for the vehicle. https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistory/ar20/3RlF7DZQez6qcpArUW_tHdqwcQ7Br3JKWdx6D_m7qnYGpwtxG0yR9TMFG6OmizKkUywBO88fRA-KOaQb4J7ZhF35oyij0LEKioU Also, if anyone has a trusted mechanic, preferable that knows these cars, in the SW PA area that would be great. Currently I would have a PPI done by a dealership ~30 minutes away if I can't find anyone else. Thanks!

I have driven it about 30 miles. when I got the car back it looked off and assumed it needed to settle and on the way home I realized that even taking that into account it is still very high. I didn't actually install these myself - I had a friend of a friend do it. Here are some pictures just to confirm the perches are inverted. Anyone have any issues with the rear being too high? I haven't let the springs settle, but especially compared to the front it looks like the rear is lifted. There is a 2 finger gap in the front and I can fit my whole fist in the rear. I'll get an exact measurement tomorrow but something definitely seems off. The sport kit I have is sku: 1140 1671 with h and r springsm
