cutting the oem fender

this thread is for reference to the peoples who ask me how to install the fender extension i sell .

most of the work is t relocate the mounting point the wiring can fit the only one to modify is the ignition , too short and the plug touch the handle at collapsed position . i have more wiring to do cause i keep my 2005 steering with the 2005 cruise control . the plug harness for the cruise/horn /radio( roll connector plug) need to be changed .is not plug and play from 05 to 08 .

yes i did i gain 50mm . i m very happy , that make the difference !

the list of parts is the jdm parts yes and is for the black trim . this can be order from the dealer in japan . but i think at this date most of the parts are discontinued 08 14 sti share some parts , like the map, dome light .

how can you live without a wagon ! not doing much on the car but doing a lot of miles with it , car is running great after changing gas tank and finally cleared all code !

dont forget everything is slightly angled . i don't think you can match a rhd center console to lhd panel radio . take the time to find the right pieces , many on the forum did it . patience will pay !

as a fabricator i will say everything is possible , but your are looking for trouble !
