lol...need a clutch...mid next week now but, the initial pull did overboost - however at the moment they're saying likely due to the wastegate actuator not opening and they didn't just do the "Florida Hammer" with out seeing it themselves - which i guess i can't blame them sounds crazy talk sorry fellas, the suspense will have to continue

Brembo Upgrade----Parts List
SJGT replied to SubyDude81's topic in Fifth Generation Legacy (2010 - 2014 )
Wanted to clear up thoughts on brembo upgrade with stock GT wheels for the 2010, I have 18x9.5 +38 work wheels with summers that'll clear them fine - but my winter tires and stock wheels might need spacers - GTeaser - were you saying 17mm were needed just to clear the spokes? So I'd have to add spacers/stockers/winter wheels when I swap each winter? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

5th Gen Legacy - Suspension Mods
SJGT replied to SBT's topic in Fifth Generation Legacy (2010 - 2014 )
did you end up using these Brandon? were they significantly stiffer than OEM? debating between direct OEM replacement at about $100, Group N @ about $145, and these at a little over $200 I'm at 81k or so miles and doing coilover install soon - so figured may as well replace/upgrade while i'm in there -

I just picked up a used cusco RLCA - I just kinda figure if I'm adding the coilovers and new wheels/tires I wanna be dial in exactly what I want from a camber perspective Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Yeah - forgot to grab the 1 post where someone linked to all the individual LCA options- why is white lines half as much as the other options? http://www.jscspeed.com/catalog/Subaru/08_10_STI/Suspension/Whiteline_Rear_Lower_Control_Arms_for_2008_2010_Subaru_STI.html Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

So I'm through all 82 pages - and I think the only immediate question I'm left with - which BlueLGT asked on page 48, was what if any supporting mods would be recommended when installing coilovers - and I think for me specifically in the northeast - what pieces I should probably take a look at and replace while I'm in there, even if not specifically an upgrade - I'm at 80k miles so I'm assuming some stuff is pretty beat up I saw a thread linked where someone made a custom "sock" for the CO that looked beneficial - has anyone started producing that anywhere - did they have longevity? - my guess is they would just tear up but who knows - if I'm investing in the KW V3's just wanna try to do anything I can to keep them in good condition Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

so...one could make the argument that i need adjustable rear LCAs in order to correct unbalanced left to right rear camber? the result of which is not only poor handling, but unnecessary wear on tires ? lob pitch for enabling here - someone swing - i'm gonna stop back a 3rd time and ask about this front right side, basically get them to confirm something is bent, or their shop hand is inept major thanks to everyone today - learning a ton as always -

http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/05/7ca6ff5a6e70dd2ac07fc0f0979533be.jpg So after 2nd alignment - things look ...better...they said they couldn't fix that right front side camber without the aftermarket bolt - but did say if I get it - they could install and redo alignment no charge to fix that And then I can't even get the rear adjusted without some adjustable LCA's, right? What would cause my right side to be so off from left ? Front and rear? I think I just need to find a good shop Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Not lowered yet, no - which is why I was finding it difficult to equate other cars in this thread Stopped at 2nd shop - this is the before - which should be the same as the after from the other shop - it's not At least they for the model year right http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/05/4b9a524aa734aca745b5f18941323385.jpg Previous shop http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/16/01/05/9d7519184190bc0b7368bc3482c54b99.jpg I guess machine tolerance differences - Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

What's the significance of 0 toe vs -.07 ? Enough to bring up? I'm more concerned about the .4 camber in the front right, and then the wrong model and out of balance sensor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
