  1. Sorry, was just throwing it out there, as I thought it was from my seat as well at first. Could be a loose bracket or bolt where it meets the floor. I'm not entirely sure if there's any springs in the seats or just padded foam alone.
  2. I think I know what squeaking you're speaking of, but I don't think it's from the seat, as I thought it was. I would hear it whenever I was getting out of the car, never into it, and it sounded like it was coming from outside the car. I narrowed it down to the rear left wheel was making the squeaking noise when I got out of the vehicle. I even confirmed it be shaking the car in that section and it squeaked, but only does it under certain movements, more lateral movements of the vehicle (case in point only when I was leaving the vehicle) and not vertical movements, such as when I was sitting into the seat. Not sure if it's the suspension or rim, but it wasn't anything serious and doesn't always happen. I chalked it up to heat expansion and the vehicle coming to a rest, as it only happened after I drove it and then parked and got out. Not sure if that's the same sound you hear or not.
  3. Your headlights MUST be on at night for the dimming to work. If you have your headlight stalk in the OFF position, the dash lights will be at full brightness, no matter the setting it's at currently. I know, it sucks, if you're sitting in your car at night, dark out and have your headlights off, you're blinded by the dash lights, the touchscreen and everyone outside can see your face in the car, while you're blinded to their's... I've been meaning to mention this as well, too.
  4. And if it was a severe enough accident, you can always claim that the impact or force knocked it loose or out and that you don't even know what a headlight clip is or what DRL is!?
  5. Whoops, I meant intermodal, not interlocking. In any case, just wanted to bring that up, because the replies to it seemed to believe it had to be at a port.
  6. I think it might be better if the challenge is that it must be at a shipping port with those type of interlocking containers., i.e., containers being used specifically for international shipping. Or, it could just be a location that has or is using those interlocking type of shipping containers. In which case, could be construction sites, railyards, lots, etc.
  7. I have to ask, according to your steps, did you plug/reattach the first plug before starting your car?
  8. Sway Bar: 14mm Endlink 24.3lb/ft 12mm Clamp 28.0lb/ft 5mm hex bolt
  9. No one's got the four Thanks yet, therefore no winner yet.
  10. LOL, you know you're gonna get pics of their Legacy next to a puddle now, right?
  11. I plead the 5th. But I don't know how I'm gonna get that pizza pie in my sunglasses holder in my Legacy, stupid Subaru.
  12. Could always just get some pen, paper and tape, then draw an exhaust over the plugged hole on the bumper. Problem solved. Profit? Profit. Vroom vroom!
  13. You said you took it to the dealer already and they couldn't find anything, but it might be a loose connection or control. Just off the top of my head and just guessing here, but maybe the steering wheel directional pad is being effected during bumps? Causing it to skip ahead or back? Might be loose or other, hit a bump and the jolt is making a connection with the d-pad. Or, during the bumps, when the steering wheel is being jolted from the hand, someone is hitting the D-pad by accident. All just pure guesses.
