  1. Listing my Volk CE28"s in 18x8.5 +44 5x100 . Imported them last year from japan and had them professionally refinished late last year. They were also professionally ceramic coated with Carpro UK and meticulously cleaned with only Car pro products. There are very few number of nicks in weird places but no curbs, gashes, bends , welds or any major defect. One barrel does have a circular rub mark from where im guessing a rock had a disagreement with my caliper. Clear Brembos and 6 Piston Corvette zo6 calipers Tires are 235-40-18 Federal 595 RS-RR with maybe like maybe 2 season left on them . 1,800 OBO . Shipping only available if buyer covers shipping cost. Can take more pictures if needed

  2. going pre-facelift with an albero bumper and jdm pre headlights and fenders. I can't think of anyone that actually went back a generation lol. Am I the only one, or does someone have pictures for me of rev a-c front end and d-f rear?

Wonder how its gonna look with the 08-09 rear, but im giving it a shot.

There are some who go facelifted rear with the older front which is basically the same. The pre-facelift bumpers are easier to get and do a swap with in any case.

  3. yeah. A bit steep.

I know, especially with the fact that I won't have the hood in the package. So I would guess the package should not be THAT big and bulky. Then again, I don't really know local shops over here :(.

Actually any business address will do. They charge more for residential usually because they have to load it on to a smaller truck.

  4. I don't think any of the JDM front ends can fit a FMIC right? Where are you guys ordering this stuff from?

Not really. I believe the spec b bumper need a little trimming and it will fit. Other than that, if you go aftermarket like the burnup bumper or one of the others, fmic will fit to a degree. For new stuff checkout japanparts, for used you have ebay , our forum importers, or yahoo auctions ( this can get expensive)

  5. honestly, i just want a light (aluminum), non-sliding set of calipers that perform just as good as the LGT brakes. And would be great if they fit normal LGT rotors.

    oh, and cheap. say $500-700?

cause i don't track. just prefer to lose some weight and those sticky slide pins/bushings.

would go after 2 piece rotors, but they're too much $$$$ for not tracking ($880 for a set of DBA fronts).

What about the subaru 4 pots ? You can pick up them fairly cheap off of a jdm sellar.

  6. yeah, i guess the benefit of the Caddy upgrade is that the calipers are $100 each new, rather than $1k for a used set (STI Brembos). there are already quite a few expensive options, and this is another.

not to say they aren't awesome.

Very true and I cant argue with that. My sti had brembos and they were just.... not doing it for me lol. They cost wayyyy less then the brembo , stoptech, and endless kits and have the aftermarket backing to support them. I can bump it up to 14in rotor but i cant run 17in rims anymore. Its not just an adapter either. They mill the original caliper to fit the bracket into the mounting points.

  7. Yes, actually I run in to this semi-frequently. I can generally reproduce it by quickly applying and removing power to the tablet. I think it's an issue with Timur's USB + OTG and fixed-install hack. It has to do with the connection between the ID and GND pin on the USB connector (i.e. what the tablet uses to check if it should be in OTG or regular USB mode). Since I used the bootloader command to force the tablet to turn on when it sees power, this gets real annoying as the tablet won't turn off when I remove the power (since it still thinks its charging, although it isn't). The only sure-fire way I've found to get the tablet to "reset" and correctly detect its sharging state is to boot into recovery mode and then reboot to normal mode. I have a Tasker script to boot into recovery, but it's a single shell command to boot into recovery while the tablet is up and running.

If anyone's interested, I can show a video of what happens and my workaround.

Its funny you say that. My tablet used to auto boot into recovery when it restarted but one day it just stop doing so and ever since then , the power power came up. Thanks Ill check it out.

  8. Anyone else having problems with their nexus 7 thinking its still charging when the car is off. Ive switched 12v's new step down converters and reinstalled the timurs rom and all with no luck. I have literally manually unplug it for to stop thinking its charging. Maybe a internal grounding issue?
  9. Thanks for the info senpai

I'm not sure why exactly you ask... so i'm not 100% sure how to reply.

-JDM parts aren't OEM here in Canada

-Because what I specifically wanted wasn't locally available

I was dealing with one importer originally (the onle @famaya26 is talking about), and he imported for me exactly what I asked for. His communication was horrendous and he was an asshole. On top of that, his exporter from Japan screwed him, as well as a few other importers, on shipments and containers that were sitting at port in Japan for months on end. When my PayPal buyer protection was about to run out, after 8 months of bullshit after paying, after 3 months or more of bullshit trying to get the stuff ordered originally, I got my refund and told him I'd buy the goods if/when they ever landed. I never heard back.

One day on FB I came across the parts I had ordered up for sale and DM'ed the guy immediately saying I'd buy for asking price ASAP. I worked with the guy to make a deal and tried for 4 weeks to meet up at his convenience. I got fed up with his bullshit and drama and told him to get bent.

Gave up dealing with that twat, and talked to another local guy. Got my parts in 2 months.

Don't deal with Braden Roberts or EssexCountyJDM. You will regret it. I guarantee it.

(I'm not sure if they're publicly viewable threads for non-members of that forum, my apologies if they aren't)

Should'be been clearer sorry. I was just saying since I did everything myself. But famaya pointed out that a importer could bulk order and bring the price of shipping down . And that whole ordeal really sucks dude. I import a lot of stuff from overseas and ive burned many times as well and it just leaves you frustrated especially when you cant see the person thats dicking you.

  10. Just got her back today!

Now I need a license plate adapter. Any suggestions? Rear support is on as well. Needed to grind down the weld a little on the drivers side. That was preventing it from going into the tunnel. Passenger side slid in but the first threaded piece needed to be removed on both sides.

Need to do a lot more work on it now that it's back!

Headlights will be wired up shortly so there can be removed.

Autozone or amazon have this plastic mounting frame that is universal. Some of the holes will line up , if not you can always drill through the plastic bracket to make your own. I did this with my sports bumper.

  11. Finally, after a year and a half of dealing with a shitty importer, I switched to a different local importer and my JDM front end finally arrived a few quick weeks later!

Extra pics to show off the other JDM goodies

During my time waiting for the bumper/lip setup, I ordered a JDM option Sports grill, but was unaware it wouldnt fit the JDM Rev A-C 2.0 GT/I/R specB bumper... so now I'm back to looking for another grill.

The preface sports grill in these pics is up for sale, DM me if interested.

How come you used a importer?
