  1. I've been drooling over wheels lately, what do you guys think of these two options:

    Enkei Raijin -

    http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&initialPartNumber=4678808045HS&wheelMake=Enkei+Tuning&wheelModel=Raijin&wheelFinish=Hyper+Silver&showRear=no&autoMake=Subaru&autoModel=Legacy+Sedan&autoYear=2011&autoModClar=2.5GT+Limited&filterFinish=All&filterSize=All&filterBrand=Enkei+Tuning&filterSpecial=false&filterNew=All&filterWeight=All&sort=Brand

    BBS SR's

    http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&initialPartNumber=SR024VGPK&wheelMake=BBS&wheelModel=SR&wheelFinish=Machined+w%2FMatte+Graphite+Acct&showRear=no&autoMake=Subaru&autoModel=Legacy+Sedan&autoYear=2011&autoModClar=2.5GT+Limited&filterFinish=All&filterSize=All&filterBrand=BBS&filterSpecial=false&filterNew=All&filterWeight=All&sort=Brand

The BBS are about 4 pounds more per wheel, but as of right now I'm going more aesthetics over performance.

    Thoughts?

I'll be keeping my current tires, Cooper RS3-A's 225/45/18. I dunno, for some reason I thought BBS wheels were typically a LOT more expensive, so I'm not sure that these are of the same quality.

EDIT: According to willtheyfit, the Enkei's have a bit more poke, which I like (both wheels will fit without any craziness for now), but I can't help feeling that the BBS's look like they came off of a VW.

I like the look of the Raijin's better, you nailed it with the BBS looking a little VW OEM-ish.

  3. This was a few weeks ago but I was filling up at the Shell here locally and while I was checking my oil a guy walked up and asked with kind of car it was, told him it was a Legacy. He was all surprised and didn't think a Legacy could ever look that good and that I did a good job on it so far. Funny how less than $300 in cosmetic mods can make a car look so much different!
  4. It's the stock struts this picture was the day i got them installed.

there's about a 1 1/2 inch gap. I don't think it'll rub to be honest. if i get new rims i wanna get 20's. I have 19 by 9.5 and there's no rubbing and if i were to get 20 it'd fill the gap and probably still not rub.

Thanks! Now I have a better idea of how my car will sit. She's currently stock in the suspension and wheel department, but that will change come May!

  5. Not sure if we had one of these, I couldn't find one. I browse cars for fun and always find things I think others may be interested in. Post up any finds!

  6. Do you plan to go catted or catless?

Catless for sure and have a pro tune done at BK in Boise. I plan on making it down there for a baseline dyno session soon, they are hooking me up on a few pulls since I will be getting a tune later on and they would like to have the numbers as well. Hoping it's mellow like yours (I haven't heard it) as mine is pretty deep and smooth right now. A little more popping is to be expected, it's already starting to more on downshifting as I've got about 250mi on the new mufflers.

  7. GrimmSpeed donut to 3" adapter

3" Mid w/ Vibrant 1795 Resonator (stock location)

    3" High Flow Y split to 2.5"

    Vibrant 1058 TPV Mufflers

I went for the longest resonator and biggest TPV mufflers Vibrant makes and had the exhaust fabbed up at Speed-O-Motive. I love the sound, will make another video if I go stage 2 with a catless Invidia.

You won't get any growl or rumble like a 4th gen, our header setup is equal length so we are going to forever and always sound similar to an EVO. I actually really like how mine sounds, got to hear it drive off for the first time the other day and it sounded amazing.

  9. LOL Someone actually thanked you for this nonsense.

Cool story bro. Do you ever offer any constructive input or are your posts just filled with judgement and disdain all the time? Possibly suggest a way to improve the OPs process or kindly point out why it may not work instead of just being rude and a waste of bandwidth.
