Official 5th Generation Suspension Thread

I'll have to measure my fender height again, but I was able to get aligned within spec with all stock components with the Basics. -

You''ll just need a set of top hats front and rear, installation is about a 1.5hr job if you take your time. Just don't do what I did and hyper-extend your CV axles and it'll be a slam dunk job. -

They ride good for me and gave me the stance I wanted for a DD. They should will fit a 3.6R, I don't see why not but I have no experience with the suspension on them. RSD says no when I put it in the car selector. EDIT: GTEASER beat me to it. -

Still looks good even when dirty. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/EvolutionEleven/Facebook/Storm%20%2011%20LGT%20Limited/12916891_10100817468972824_3991470260395162005_o.jpg~original http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/EvolutionEleven/Facebook/Storm%20%2011%20LGT%20Limited/11165044_10100817468962844_6131191921229904745_o.jpg~original http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd175/EvolutionEleven/Facebook/Storm%20%2011%20LGT%20Limited/12901346_10100817468967834_5065198251196666602_o.jpg~original -

No, offset is too high. -
LGT Owners, what car will you drive next?
Unsp0kn replied to EvilCamaroSS's topic in Fifth Generation Legacy (2010 - 2014 )
The 3.5 EcoBoost is actually pretty reliable. I have a friend that has swapped turbos and is pushing close to 500hp in his F150 SuperCrew and he works on them everyday. He's actually the one that convinced me to seek one rather than go with the 5.0. I agree, the 2017 Sport is the one I was eyeing just a few minutes ago. I haven't driven one of those, the one I drove was the Titanium 2.0 turbo and about the same ballpark as the Legacy but I wasn't quite feeling it as I was wanting the Legacy. -

Ford Fusion with the 2.7L Ecoboost is actually a pretty fun car. I looked at one but really wanted back into a Subaru when I started searching for the Legacy. -
Mid pipe to the mufflers with a resonator in the stock-ish location. If you aren't doing headers or the collector then building a catback for a 3.6R shouldn't cost much more, if any. Full header-back with a WRX pre-fabbed catback that needs customizing, that will be a lot more work and money.

^ This, I went full custom fab and it came out under $600.

19x8.5 +45 is nice, I wouldn't mind a little bit more poke but I'm pretty happy with that size and offset. I would steer you away from the 17's, our cavernous wheel arches will dwarf them unless you want to put a real meaty tire on them. -

That's why I left mine dipped black as well, tied the tails together nicely. Plus it was chrome before that....yuck. -
By all means, go for it! That's why I put up part numbers. It turned out great, sporty and not too loud, zero drone when cruising, mild when going up hills, but I always downshift and run a higher rpm anyways and it sounds great.
-
Thanks! I paid $345 for the parts and another $185 to have it built at an exhaust shop.

My 19" Konigs with Nitto tires and a set of spline lug nuts was about $1400 shipped. -

Wide!!!! -
It's a 2.5i GT with a 3.6L engine!! The rarest of the rare.
-
I've got a Just-in-Case that has a tow strap, jumper cables, a few tools, first aid kit and a bunch of fuses. I did get complimented the other day from a girl when I pulled into the gas station, she said my car sounded really good. She drives a newer Impreza 2.5i and had just installed her Rally Armors, she was pretty proud of that! I thought it was awesome.
-
Right now it's cranked all the way in, no surge. I'll have to try the 1 turn out, I like a little bypass noise! Yep that's the one!
-
I love my GFB Mach 2 and it gave a little sound increase over OEM all while not leaking like a pile of junk.
