Spotted a nice white 4th gen wagon this morning on the windy roads of bill and erica.

Cruisin on the highway at a smooth 60,can't go any faster because of the bent rims, and an old school 5.0 mustang pulls up next to me, gives me a nod, I give him the thumbs up, he revs and takes off like a bat outta hell, gave me the chills it sounded so nice

It's worth it

I knew it was italian something, I didnt get a chance to say hello. And I dont think that 5th gen had a jdm front end but if it did Im mad at myself for not walking over!

Yea I got to meet him and talk to him for a few, very cool guy and his car is done up nice. The white and purple cars are also members but I didnt get a chance to talk with them, meant to stop by at the end but couldnt.

Spotted a few 5th greens in the lot, nice cars! I don't think any of these guys are on the forum

I saw a silver 5th gen again on route 3 going south today, I've seen it a few times before, theres part of the bumper missing, I doubt he's on here because he wouldve had that fixed by now!

The JDM parts will fit if you get all the surrounding pieces as well. Hanger did the JDM front end conversion, that will allow you to get the lip. Im pretty sure the sideskirts and rear bumper will all fit on our USDM sedans. Be ready to pay for shipping!

Thanks guys, appreciate the input. After some googling i found that im not the only fifth gen who had their alignment tech spec it out against a 2009. now its on to saving for new LCA's! Thankfully the barely an inch of drop is the most I will probably go with these. Im already having issues around the city, going to need to roll my fenders in just a tad more.

It looks like they adjusted your f & r toe. The caster isn't adjustable on cars. Only the front camber is adjustable unless you have aftermarket rear LCA's.

 

I personally like to go to a alignment shop with the specs I want them to shoot for. Being in spec can often be too broad for a good driving/handling car.

 

 

OK so the caster makes sense to me as well. The other specs, as FL pointed out, could be all wrong if they tried to match it to a 2009.

 

I wish I knew more about the specs to specify what I want. I do need to get LCA's tho but the wheels are pretty straight when I eyeball it.

One alarming number is "2009" at the top hmmmm.

 

Yea I didnt notice that one until I left the place. If they spec'd it to a 2009 it could be all messed up.

 

It did run smoother though.

I'm not so familiar with alignments but these numbers don't look like they did much, do any of these values seem alarming to anyone?

Thanks Lao, I actually rolled the rears last year because the suspension was so bouncy I was hitting it on almost any bump. New suspension is pretty stiff tho so im hoping I luck out.

It worked fine when not lowered but im worried about the front. Worst case I leave the stockers on there and sell that setup for a new one. Except i still have snow tires on my stockers and its 85 degrees out

I'll be doing a 3/4 inch drop on 255/40/ 19x8.5 et38 this weekend. I'll post some pics up to see if its something you'd be interested in.

all these stories want to make me lower my car for it to be more noticeably awesome...

 

You can always go rpmk104's route and raise it up!

^^That does make a lot of sense. Are you thinking just a stright edge flapper or a "curved extension"? Im curious how much either design on their own would restrict airflow, possibly the curved restricting too much or creating unwanted pressure elsewhere.
