  1. I dont need to argue this with you because it worked for you. You can have your cookie if you'd like, but one big difference is you are in a warmer climate where those in colder (boost loving) climates have issues.

Im not comfortable just trying it out on my daily driver. This was advertised by them as a well designed product and others have had major boost issues. I think by allowing them all this time (over A YEAR at this point) we have been very respectful and this thread is a great place for us to vent to each other without attacking the vendor who is the only one who can help us at this point without everyone becoming guinea pigs. it would make it a lot easier to put this piece on knowing that they've done something other than to say we need to rotate it. I dont have a lift or a garage nor the money to have people put it on, tune it, lift it again, rotate it, tune it again, lift it again, etc... to see what works and what doesnt....but they do.

Once I get my other daily driver up and running then I'd be willing to do things like that but I don't have that luxury. Its their business, its what they do, it should be easy for them to spare some time.

  2. Alright show of hands who contacted nameless directly after install with an over boost issue and kept them informed of their ongoing problem?

I'm not on any side here, but most of the complaining has been on this thread from people who haven't even installed the part, for all we know it could be a slight inconsistency in build and in wastegate flow. Until more people step up and install we don't have much data to pull conclusions from.

    Two things about this

1 - people have installed it and have had issues. I own a 35K car, Im not going to "step up" to put a defective item on my car just to prove it doesnt work and end up with some kind of mechanical issue they arent going to cover

2 - they've already mentioned they dont want to be inundated with emails and want to work with an individual

bottom line for me is that if they are invested in their customers they would have done more by now.

  3. From a retail perspective their customer service is terrible, theres no excuse for it.

They have only so many designs and I cant see how a custom design would be forgotten. They're intentionally putting us off because they are trying to figure out how to fix it without losing money. Best case scenario for them is that we just drop it. (unlikely) Like Nossy said, their sob stories should be falling on dead ears because its about time they do something here.

They got more than 15 grand in business from us, they should be able to invest some of that in time immediately. We're not talking about cars from the 50's rare, most of the cars produced are still on the road. If they just kept the conversation here we couldve found a way to get them what they need rather than replying to certain individuals at random times with various degrees of vague commitments.
