  1. Nope, the glass well just shatter due to the safety features
  2. How much was the glass alone? There's a guy shipping stuff from Japan to Georgia and shipping is really cheap, also I'll be going to Japan to source my own glass if possible.
  3. I was at MensWearhouse getting suits for my wedding and one of the sales guys starts screaming, WHOS REX IS OUTSIDE? WHOS GOT THE REX? He comes up to me and says, is that your rex? So I played dumb and was like, no Ive got the legacy... little did I know there was a sixth gen sitting right there. The other legacy took off and he starts asking everyone in the store whos rex it was, I asked him why he cared and found out he had an 06 wrx in the parking lot and had no idea mine was a GT. After a few shared compliments I found out the guy used to own a 4th gen but blew the turbo and thought that the 5th gen was too boaty and went with a used WRX. After all that he ended up complimenting the car and wishing he went with one, and is also now signing up to be a subaru ambassador. The legacy makes more friends than I thought.
  4. Yea that was me, waved back but I was late as usual. The spec b sounded awesome, nice pop!
  5. I'll be coming back from Nantucket on Sunday so I might pass you on the way back to Boston
  6. I guess one downside to closing the deck vs sleeves would be decreased cooling capabilities. Would a bigger radiator compensate or is cooling permanently diminished?
  7. Whaaa, no way. Head gasket issues I gotta say Im very sorry to see this. You passing me on 93 and revving up the engine is what led me to this forum in the first place. I really hope you can find a way to keep it or at least get a fair price for a great car!
  8. Good to know, the one car I personally know with a sleeved block is sigmafour but he is definitely in the high 400's. I guess I understood 350 and up to be sleeved, but if you're 350-425 and a sleeve is overkill, is there additional strength to be had in another form or basically the block should handle it?
  9. Why no sleeves? I thought that was a rebuild "staple" if you wanted to push over 350 safely.

  11. 800 is a great price and those look near perfect. Some nice pads for those and you'll be stopping on a dime.
  12. Those are all high priced,I like it, need to drive up our value. The third one, the black one in ny is on my route today,I might stop in just to check it out
  13. Im not sure if someone said it earlier but is anyone running a bov opposed to a bpv?

  15. I have the limited trim with the backup cam and the car came with these from the dealer but I did buy it used so it was probably a dealer install. I also have a weird speaker installed on the dash that has an on off button and I think thats the beep for getting too close.
  16. While driving in a new town had to stop for a pic http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170430/6bfccae51aeb4fa74ae4d0d1cf27d6ef.jpg http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170430/dd3d8bb32efe6b7d0e6b469b1bab9586.jpg
  17. The girls that work there are pretty cool, can't complain
  18. Oh man, im sorry I missed it. I think I noticed a group of guys on that side. There were a lot of old white guys at that bar hahaha. I usually stop either there or tavern in the square for lunch on fridays, feel free to bug me if you see me again.
  19. Yup that was me, did you have your GT with you? The light was so bright when i walked outside i could barely see haha
  20. Bumped into a fifth gen 3.6r owner yesterday on the way home at a rest stop but unfortunately his accessory belt shredded while driving and he was waiting for AAA. Wanted to fill him in on the group but he had his hands full with the situation at the moment. Hope he made it back to Boston.
