How many miles? I put 77k on mine before I traded it in.
I currently have 55k on the car and have at least a year left on the warranty. Probably will trade it in once the warranty is up.
All I've spent on the car has been
Front (@55k) and rear brakes (@~30k)
set of new tires @~30k
replaced trans fluid at @~30k
Spark plugs @55k w/ cleaning
Brake fluid @55k
Oil changes
3-4 car detailing

I purchased my 2015 Subaru Legacy in I think Oct 2014. I purchased 7 Year 0 deductible for ~1000. Took my car in for service, and they noticed a leak from the the Timing Cover. They charged Subaru ~ 1500 for the repair and I got my Oil change for free since they would of had to do it anyway. Of course since I've had my car, I've had to do get some warranty service done (replace MicroSD card for Maps, etc.)..but it did save me some money getting it.

did you look at the manual or go thru the menu system. There is probably a setting for that
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1520137/Subaru-Remote-Start.html?page=2#manual
Enter the vehicle and close all vehicle doors, trunk or rear gate.2.Verify that the transmission shifter is in the "park" position.3.Turn the ignition "ON" then "OFF", "ON" then "OFF", "ON" then "OFF", then back "ON" and leave on throughoutthe programming process.(ON/OFF ignition cycles must be completed within eight (8) seconds).4.The system will honk the horn the number of times corresponding to thecurrent run time setting.5.Open and close the driver's door to advance to the next run time setting. The system will honk the horn the number of times corresponding to thenew run time setting.6.Run time selection mode will exit via turning off the ignition or thirty (30)seconds of inactivity. Upon exit, the current run time selection will be restored

I just went to Costco and picked up an Interstate battery. Just beware if you don't put a battery maintainer while replacing your battery, you might have to reset your Windows (Auto Down). It's in the manual how to reset it. For me, as a coincidence, my seat memory went bad, and was replaced under my extended warranty.

All,
I would like to thank everyone for your support. That was it, the brightness level was set to all the way up. Once I took it off the highest setting, the Nav went into dark mode.

Guys,
I don't use my Navi much, but I noticed when I am driving at night, my Navi doesn't go into dark mode. I tried looking for the settings, but I didn't notice one. Is there a setting when you turn on the headlights the Navi goes into dark mode. I noticed there are 2 different color settings day and night, but how does it know when to switch etc. What am I missing
Thanks.

What is the Latest Firmware for the 2015 Subaru Legacy w/Navi. The latest I've seen is NU9020 (TSB 15-205-16R). Currently My Cell phone texting doesn't work. Wondering if it's due to the NU9020 firmware?.. Thanks.

So silly question but I assume there is no way we can ever still expect a functioning Mirror link, let alone Android Auto on a 15? I'm still pissed about something that was promised to work/marketed as a feature and then never did actually work.
Mirror link works for me on 2015 Subaru Legacy Limited (with Nav) with 9020, firmware. I just need to plug in USB (does not work via Bluetooth). I have a LG V30 and run the LG MirrorDrive app and it works. I just get 3 icons. Phone, Message, and Music no google map, etc.

Greetings all,
A while ago I had the dealer upgrade my firmware on my 2015 Subaru Legacy Limited (NU2090). I am pretty sure text messaging was working, but after a period of time I've been noticing I can no longer receive text messages on my head unit.. I have an LG V30
I've tried the following.
deleted and re-paired LG V30 phone
Cleared head unit memory
deleted and re-paired LG V30 phone
Tried another phone (Samsung S9)
I connected my LG V30 phone to a 2019 Subaru Accent, and it worked file.

Does anyone know the Fuse Location for Driver Seat and / or Seat memory?.
Currently I can not set new memory seat position for 1 or 2 ever since I replace my battery. I know there are is another thread but no one really answered this question.
When I press 1 or 2 It does move the seat to a position I don't want. I hit set and 1 or 2 but it just changes the seat location from a pre-set I can't remove.
Thanks

If you need Gap insurance you can't afford the car. There's no harshness, bullying or trolling involved in that statement.
If you can't digest these facts, there will be little help for you on this forum.
So if you totaled your car, and you still owed 20k for your car, and your insurance would only give you 15k for the car, you still owe 5k.. so you would rather pay 5k instead of maybe paying 1k extra for insurance?
-
Again, I went to the dealer and he said the lease payment included Gap Insurance!. I told him that I wanted to get my own GAP insurance from my own insurance company. His response was a little weird, he didn't really know how to answer. I just wanted to know from anyone was familiar if Subaru forced to get there own insurance or not. That is all...
I am not BUYING A LEGACY. I am going to be purchasing a Ascent!. yes, I left that out, but did it really matter? The Lease payment I was told was 400-500. Gap insurance is important if lets say in the 2nd year the car gets totaled I don't have to pay the difference between what the insurance would give me -vs- how much I would have to pay off the lease etc.
-
Yes it is bit harsh since you just came up with a stupid answer without answering the question you just made an insulting comment without knowing facts. There wasn't a reason to answer someone like that. I usually buy my cars but this time I only want to keep it for a few years mostly translation reasons. I just wanted to know if it a requirement you have to get it from subaru or just get a waiver and get it through my insurance etc. Not saying I wouldnt get it. Just the option. This may seem harsh, but if you need gap insurance, then you probably can't afford your car.Sent from my VS996 using Tapatalk

The reason I asked is that the dealer I went to just said its bundled in the lease payment but I said I want to use my own insurance company but he sounded clueless. I read somewhere you should be able to go your own insurance and usually cheaper. Just trying to save some $$The lease and insurance through the dealership are just rebranded services from other financial service providers. Why not call them and ask the question. My guess is the Subaru insurance in America is through liberty mutual.

Greetings guys,
Hopefully you can help me. We are shopping around to Lease a Subaru (never leased a car before). When I talked to the dealer about GAP insurance, he said it came with it (I presume it is tied in with the payments). I said I rather go thru my own insurance to get GAP. He said you have to go thru the leasing company.
Do I have to purchase the GAP insurance from Subaru (or their leasing company) or can I go thru my own insurance company.
Thanks.

Looking to update my 15 legacy hu firmware.
Does anyone happen to have the files below?
NU9017_USB_1st.exe
NU9017_USB_2nd.exe
Please PM me I'd love to update as well!
You should try to request NU9020 version if you can get it... I unfortunately don't have it.. I had my dealer install it.
