I just move back and rented my permanent residence, not just fix the damage but did major upgrades. I completed the the job then had the upgrades appraised @ $250,000.00 sold the place in less than a month at the highest amount in the subdivision at that time. But I am very fortunate I am a good finished carpenter and can build a house (electrical, plumbing, wood flooring, tiling. framing, roofing etc) without assistance.
