Excellent, thanks for the confirmation. If you have any pics of the front of the manifold, I'd be curious to see how the routing looks. Guessing the fuel lines/FPR are still compatible? Are those heads not desirable?

I can double check when I take another look at the motor this weekend, but from my blurry pics it looks like the head castings say D25. I'm not too familiar with the secondary air pump, but I know when the previous owner was running it in his car, the full setup was deleted, so I'm assuming everything is blocked off. Did you have to make any changes to get your 05 manifold to work? When I had the two manifolds side by side, I saw the 90deg line coming out of the front of the manifold directs to the passenger side on the 05 (purge system mounted on that side) versus the 07 manifold directs to the driver side

Hey everyone, I picked up a built motor setup out of an 07 LGT that I'll be looking to swap into my 05 LGT later this year. For now, I am just trying to research the differences between the two years and see what needs modification. From my understanding, the long block should be a direct fit from a mechanical perspective. I discussed with my tuner, and I agree with him that the easiest approach would be to put my 05 engine harness/intake manifold/TGVs onto this motor and everything should drop in place (secondary air setup already deleted). What I'm curious about though, is whether I can use the 07's top feed fuel rails and injectors instead of the 05's side feed. I see there are some minor differences between the two manifolds regarding the purge/evap system setup/location, perhaps due to the change in rails. Is this something I can use the 05 manifold on the top feed setup? Or could I use the 07 manifold, but run the 05 engine harness with it? Or is the only viable option to use the 05 manifold + rails and pickup an IAG top feed conversion? Anyone have any thoughts or pointers?
