  1. Cleaning out the last of my Subaru stuff from storage. Most parts are 05-09 Legacy GT/Outback XT fitment, but may work with other Subaru chassis. Local pickup only, can meet part way for the smaller items, but bigger items like engine/driveline need to be picked up in Nashua NH. All parts OBO. - SOLD: EJ255 from 05 LGT with ~150k miles. Full engine with turbo, manifolds, harness, etc. Drop-in ready for 05/06 LGT. Ran fine when pulled in 2021 to install a built motor, has been sitting in storage since then. - SOLD: 05 LGT 4.11 manual swap with ~175k miles. Had a slight grind if quick shifting from top of 3rd to 4th, not uncommon on these. Drove great otherwise, pulled in 2021 to install an STI 6mt. Includes transmission and mounts, clutch master + slave cylinders, shifter linkage, driveshaft, matching r160 rear diff, starter, and all 4 axles. Can include an open unused clutch and flywheel for extra. - $350: Sparco Terra wheels, one is cracked and might not be repairable. 17" 5x100. Gold with blue letters. Tires are junk. - SOLD: 05-09 OBXT-fitment Nameless axleback mufflers. Has 5" mufflers and turn-down tips for Outback bumper clearance. Will need new hardware. - $40: 05-07 Legacy/Outback headlights, reflectors painted black. Needs polishing. No broken tabs. - $40: Alternator. Untested but looks clean. - $25: 07+ Legacy blue top feed injectors. 520CC iirc. - $25: 07+ Legacy DIY TGV deletes. - SOLD: LGT wagon OEM catback exhaust. Axleback flanges rusted off and were welded together so the catback is one piece now. Axleback hanger missing. No other leaks, sounded quiet. - Free: LGT radiator from LKQ. Manual transmission fitment (no transmission cooler connections), untested. - Free: VF40 from spun-bearing motor. ~110k miles, minimal shaft play, no metal shavings seen in oil line. Might be rebuildable? - Free: OEM airbox and coupler hose, with MAF. - Free: EJ255 S-AVCS left/right cam covers

It's definitely seen better days cosmetically- I bought it in 2015 with the scuffed bumpers and faded paint, but could never justify a full repaint without going over the whole chassis to remove all of the rust, it just didn't seem worth it to me for a car of this age and with this mileage. Initially I wanted to find a Spec B 6mt shift boot/surround and OEM knob for the OEM+ look. Removing the non-fitting 5mt boot was supposed to be a temporary fix, but a company like Redline could probably make a custom boot to work with the 6mt reverse lockout in the 5mt shifter surround if a future owner wanted. This setup is a lot of fun and reminiscent of an old-school turbo car, calm and collected around town but will really put you back in your seat around 4000RPM. I'm certainly going to miss it

Selling because I work remotely now and don't drive it enough to justify the hassle of storing it. Looking for $7,500 OBO. Chassis: 2005 Legacy GT wagon (originally a 5mt car), non-limited trim, black paint with black cloth interior. Currently at 177,000 miles and may go up slightly. Clean title, one previous minor accident I know of Engine: IAG stage 3 EJ257 short block (closed deck, forged pistons and rods) with refreshed OEM D25 heads. Long block was assembled at Wicked Matt in Rhode Island for a different car/owner in 2018, it currently has ~25k miles on it. ~3k miles on most other mods, including FP Green turbo and full supporting mods. Pro tuned by Matt Miner at 405whp/355wtq on 93. Engine tested healthy in December 2021, all cylinders were between 125-130psi and all under 5% leakdown Driveline: 04 STI 6mt (with OEM GR STI shift linkage), Spec B driveshaft, lower mileage JDM STI R180 rear differential, new Spec B rear axles. New ACT XTSS clutch with resurfaced OEM STI flywheel Exhaust: catted CNT downpipe, 3" Nameless resonated catback with factory mufflers. Pretty quiet when cruising and looks OEM Cons: - Has rust on driver's rear quarter, under the doors, and on the undercarriage. Paint is faded - Steering rack has a slow leak - Front struts are leaking Feel free to PM for more details or with any questions. No test drives without cash in hand.   6. Interesting to see how much longer the tip is on the wagon mufflers. The sedan ones seem similar in length to the OBXT turn-down tips I have on now, which might be contributing to the exhaust smells in the cabin at stop lights. Hoping the longer tips will help with the sound and smell. Thanks for taking care of the broken bolt and polishing the tips, they clean up nicely. I'd take my wagon if it weren't still at the shop, I think we both have the same spec (black 5mt unltd), haven't seen another one of them around here. See you tomorrow!

Mostly just want this stuff gone, I've listed approx prices but if you make a reasonable offer I'll probably accept it. Not looking to ship.   8. For sure! I'd be more keen to the dual-tip look if the bumper cutouts were a hair wider, they look a bit cramped imo. Definitely a good deal otherwise given the price. My hope is to reuse my Nameless midpipe (I think they designed their axlebacks to work with the factory y-pipe, so I'd imagine it should work the other way around) so that the factory y-pipe isn't restricting That should work for me, they look in pretty good shape for the age. My wagon is at a local shop getting a few things checked over, including a sanity-check for an exhaust leak. If it's not leaking and just loud, I'll probably send you a PM in a couple days to work out the details
  9. Thanks for the insights Max, interesting to hear the Q300 still drones on the wagon as that's what I saw recommended most. If you were open to selling either set of mufflers, I might be interested in buying them off you (or at least giving them a try) to see how much the exhaust quiets down. The OEM mufflers I had have surface rust/missing tip bolts, and had the rusted flanges replaced with slip joints years ago. Thanks for the link SoobyDoobyDoo, that's exactly what I was wondering about. I see a number of 15+ WRX/STI mufflers floating around for sale, but it seems like they'd work with some minor fab. OEM mufflers would certainly help with quieting the sound down. Trying to keep the wagon discrete and the neighbors happy
  10. Curious if anyone has any knowledge on this, are there any other OEM Subaru mufflers that bolt up/fit (like 08-14 WRX etc)? Currently running a 3" Nameless catback with resonator/5" mufflers and it's near deafening with ELH and 3" downpipe. Seems like most OEM LGT mufflers were tossed or rotted out years ago, so was curious if there are other newer options that would work with minimal fabrication. Otherwise open to quieter catback suggestions for wagon fitment, such as the Q300 (and if anyone in the New England area has quiet catbacks for sale, send me a PM)
  11. Don't have both of my Subarus together often, so here's my wagon with my Baja. Both 2005 turbo manuals. Just finished swapping a built motor and STI 6mt into the wagon, should be fun.
  12. Agreed with the above. I was looking into reusing the old foam off my OEM radiator when I went aftermarket, but with the larger core I'm not sure it's necessary or would fit. I'd drop the new one in and run as-is
  13. IIRC, the engine grounds changed in 07 with the D25 heads/air pump setup. My 05 had the same two-ground manifold setup in the pics Max Capacity provided, but the 07 motor I swapped in had only one ground off the manifold in the same general area. Pretty sure that's the only ground from the manifold wiring harness Is it a v2 or v3 accessport? Thought I remembered my friend's v2 acting similarly before it ended up kicking the bucket
  14. Been doing some reading, a lot of good information from awfulwaffle and Tehnation on their conversions (here, here, and here). What it looks like is the 05 sidefeed setup has the FPR mounted on the driver side of the engine bay, whereas the 07 topfeed setup I have has the FPR mounted inline near the top of the rails, where the fuel lines from the engine bay connect. Looks as though it has a bypass built in, so it recirculates with the delivery line. My current plan is to modify the evap line in the top feed rails to delete the tee for the unnecessary purge solenoid, and use the 05's single purge solenoid + valve setup. Currently planning to remove the whole section of hardline that contains the tee, and replace it and the rubber lines on both sides with a single low-pressure rubber fuel line. This would allow me to use the 07's fuel line inputs with inline FPR without having to hack up the rest of the rails. See pic below for reference (courtesy of m sprank): I've also got the delivery and return lines in the engine bay to go with these rails, so I can delete my 05's setup with its FPR. Evap line in the engine bay seems to be reusable. Hopefully will complete this mod and have the manifold mounted to the motor this weekend
  15. Bumping this thread as the parts I was waiting on came in and I've started putting stuff together. I was comparing the assembly diagrams for the intake manifold + fuel rails of the 05 and 08 setups. From what I can tell: The 05 sidefeed setup has a single purge control solenoid on the passenger side of the manifold, near the wastegate control solenoid. It takes input from the 90deg line from the front of the manifold, and a rubber fuel line from the evap hard line. The rubber evap line is tee'd with the round purge valve on the passenger side, which is connected to a nipple on the turbo inlet, and runs to the blue tee behind the manifold. The 08 topfeed setup has two purge control solenoids; one on the driver side near the front of the manifold, and one on the passenger side where the 05's is. The driver side solenoid takes input from the 90deg line from the front of the manifold and a tee in the evap hardline. The passenger side solenoid takes input from the evap hardline and a direct connection from the turbo inlet. So, to mount the 05 manifold on the topfeed rails, it seems like the only adjustments should be to cap off the tee in the hardline to where the driver side solenoid would be, and potentially run a different length rubber line to connect the rest of the evap hardline to the passenger side solenoid? Also noticed that the FPR setup seems to be different between the two. Guessing the top feed FPR should be run here?

  17. I didn't take a close look at the underside of the 05 manifold, but it almost looked like it had that same sensor like the 05 did, just on the passenger side instead of driver side? Both manifolds have the vac line coming out, just in opposite directions
  18. Thanks for the pics of the manifold. I've got some pics of my two manifolds- here are the bits I'm curious about, since they are dependent on the fuel lines + engine harness. Primarily, it's that the location of this sensor + lines was on the passenger side of the 05 manifold, but driver side for the 07 manifold. The vac/fuel lines can be made to fit, but were there complications with the engine harness for this?
