Hey. I was browsing some of the vendor sites for the AP Racing setup - pricey! I came across the Brembo upgrade from King of parts. Front and Back together would cost about what the AP 6-pot front costs alone! Anybody have any thoughts on these aftermarket Brembo's that haven't already been mentioned? I'm looking at a BBK. Don't know which direction to go. Brembos? It would be really nice if those of you who've done it could do some writeups in the Review section or here. Yeah, I read Xenonk's "how to buy brakes." It's very good but is not what I'm looking for. I've read through a myriad of posts but things are so convoluted I can't extract the information I'm looking for: (1) what kits are out there (2) ballpark cost (3) which vendors and finally (4) performance improvements / reviews good or bad.

Spotted a dark blue pearl LGT, dark tint, gold 9 or 10 spoke Shrek replica rims going east on Broadway turning from Steinway in Astoria today. EDIT: Only had a quick look on the side. Had either K2 or Albero front bumper.

Yesterday. Spotted myself :lol: in NJ Rte. 80 East around 4pm headed towards the GWB coming back from Great Gorge Country Club. Actually, there was this one guy in a dark-tinted old NA Subie wagon following me like a shadow for miles as I darted in and out of traffic cruising mostly at 80 or so. Get to the toll, he pulls up beside me, rolls down, and give me a big smile and thumbs up. I acknowledged and went on my way. Guess he liked the card.

Just a bunch of horny guys man... expressing their frustration err... satisfaction... they shouldn't "bump" like that on Internet forums. It's not polite.

I give up on this thread. I drove up to Tuxedo (Renaissance Festival) yesterday and no one spotted me. I spotted no one except the requisite 2 or 3 STI's who looked at me like I had 5 heads (must be the BC's ) and Autospeed. I spot and post regularly but have yet to be spotted.

White Chevy Suburban parked right in front of Boston Market Left the Shrek at home today 'cause of foul weather and a required trip to Ikea in Hicksville.

Blue LGT Wagon, dark tint, Rallitek license bracket in Woodside shopping center (Northern Blvd.) headed to get some Boston Chicken. I was in my truck so no spotting me I guess.

Yeah. I had/have the same concern with my H-techs. But after 100 miles in NYC traffic, speed bumps, and trunk full with welder, jack, chop saw, and generator, there has been no rubbing or bump stop hitting luckily. More importantly, the back is really low - tucked ala M3. I'm hoping the front will settle over time. Really it doesn't matter because I just ordered the BC Coilovers so I could determine/adjust my own ride height and relationship front to rear. Guess I'm nitpicking.

Red LGT w/AutoSpeed CBE,tint, and black mesh rims tooling around Astoria, Queens again. Debadged except for "GT." Hmm... I was 2 cars behind you. Spotted you a couple weeks ago in Jackson Heights/Corona parked in front of AutoZone or something on Northern Blvd.

This afternoon. Jackson Heights/Corona. Northern Blvd in between the laundromat and Autozone or R&S Strauss (whatever it is there) around 95th st. Red GT with Autospeed exhaust, tint, black mesh rims, and "Koeppel Performance" license brackets. I parked behind you for a few to go into the store.

Spotted a lowered, tinted, white wagon cruising up 33rd st in Astoria towards the GCP last night. I was parked in the Shrek.

I see a white LGT down by Queensbridge nearly everyday pulling out of the N/W train.

Wasn't me but... That's my old H.S. and Bayside's where I grew up. Ahh... the old Terriers!!! Used to drag my GN and IROC back in the day on Franny Lou then the Conduit and 20th Ave before the crackdown days. Never did anything crazy or act the fool though. Boys in Blue just doing their jobs...

Spotted JBLU24's ride parked, then spotted him!!! Yesterday. Long Island City waterfront. We chatted for a couple and confirmed we'd be at the meAt today. Wow! His car is sweeeeeetttt!!!! All his mods are amazing!!! Makes me itch real bad for the performance mods. Alas, a 50 - 60 hour a week job and kids make my forward progress with mods very slow.
