Scored a hell of a deal yesterday, Picked up an engine from a running driving 08 WRX EJ255 with the VF46 turbo (ZERO SHAFT PLAY), intake manifold, injectors everything except the coil packs. For.... $150 the guy just wanted it out of his garage!
It was a 5 hour round trip but so worth it.

My dad loves Indiana and goes up to hunt deer regularly. Honestly only the southeast is what I avoid even though I'll be in Florida in a few days. And Kansas in June was hot and humid.
I love living in the Rockies but we've become the new California in home pricing. Everything else is OK in that sense but idk if I'll be able to buy a home.

Today I've got a final few things buttoned up for the spec b. I've booked the alignment on the car and booked the windshield replacement (neither were done when I bought the car) I've got to get it safetied. I wasn't able to get my intercooler on the car because the previous owner stripped out the bov location and did a poor job with heilcoils. So I ripped them out, drilled out the locations and tapped them out I found some spare M12 x 11.25 bolts and they fit the bolt locations on my bov! Perfect, I make a gasket out of a sheet of material I had and bolt it all down.
Now to figure out how to install this beast with my strut tower bar...
