  1. Exactly this. When I was interested in the Flex EcoBoost, the reliability and the fit & finish scared me off. No like
  2. Its all part of Subaru global takeover! Well, maybe just USA That's an unusual sight indeed. I'm always lookin out for Subies down here in Miami. I find a lot of new-riding WRX bros have no clue or just don't care what an LGT wagon is...
  3. since I know you missed me, I'm back Anyone know if 15+ STi (manual) seats will bolt in to '05 LGT ?? any help or go-see-this-thread-and-leave-us-alone is appreciated
  4. Rubbing front and/or rear? rear But keep in mind: 225/40/18 are an easy if the wheels are the right offset and width. The combination of those two numbers being the key to easy peasy. at this point of my life / budget / busy I want it all: easier, great look, and sporty DD. Easiest option
  5. not trolling and I hear your internet-will-answer-your-questions perspective, but I don't necessarily have eighteen f***** hours to find the needle in the haystack. diagnose my own stupid problem, find the possible answers, parse through everything, and decide on my own what I happen to think is the * right * answer. and then make some more simple mistakes. "here noob, see this link" is that so flipping hard. nothing makes me want to go lease a beigemobile and forget this modding more than people who relate to this as another cool-kids clique have a great evening.
  6. still a noob! So, today I did THIS and the rear tires are rubbing pretty bad! besides putting the OEM setup and tires back on, how can I fix this? coilovers? springs? roll fenders? some of the above? what are my options... XXR530 18 x 18.75 bf goodrich 225 40 18 any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!
  7. congrats! I drive an '05 GT wagon, down here in Miami not exactly a common sight
  8. so much THIS. She is good at everything, and just occasionally pretty spectacular at something...
  9. The issues with the V are - > avg 9mpg. Occassionally 10. T - E - N. (granted in my LGT I avg only 13 > monthly payment is a lot vs Subie is PAID OFF. Z - E - R - O. > insurance is $2K / yr vs Subie, reasonable > goes through rear tires like kleenex vs Subie, reasonable wear life depending how you drive > WAY more power than can possibly use near where I live, whereas the Subie can use 8/10 or 9/10 of its ability much more of the time. way more accessible > the V's rear visibility and high door sills make seeing out of it a pain in the ass. Subie has miles of glass all around and lower door sills, easy, don't need a camera > payment gas insurance = $$$$$$$ I could start listing other things about the LGT I love more than the V, but question was about the drawbacks of the V... btw I think 'suicide' is pushing it a bit far, but yes you are courting danger way more quickly in a huge power, RWD car than a lighter weight AWD car
  10. But I NEED to feel I'm giving my car a workout, constantly! This is one of the reasons I'm regretting the V wagon purchase.
  11. Indeed, but as a LGT wagon diehard, tell me you wouldn't get into Levorg anyway? Esp with 300hp and a 6sp? even if it's on the smaller side?? Hmmm outback XT. I'm thinking about that. But all I keep picturing is a cow on rollerblades
  12. Yikes! Might as well drive some 5 gal buckets of paint around! No good Dagnabbit.
  13. I think 18x7.5 +48 I was thinking 10mm spacers But concerned about weight!?
  14. I bought a CTS V wagon to replace my beloved LGT wagon. However. Besides that the V is soooo damn expensive to have around and the Subie is paid off, the Subie is also just more fun. Yes in a straight line, on big roads with lots of room etc etc the V is way more "car." nicer quieter cabin leather luxury etc etc But for the kind of fling it around driving I do, on small local roads, I actually prefer the Subie in so many ways. The V is a fire breathing dragon I rarely can use its power. Now I'm selling the V. Crazy / stupid I know. Anyone else had a similar experience and just .. came home to mama (Subaru)?
  15. anyone had experience with the FSTI 18 inch wheels? recommend???
  16. Damn the level of knowledge is freakin impressive. I'm not looking to go lower. Don't want stiff springs unless I'm really tracking the car which I ain't. Unless you count driving like an idiot most of the time. Just want the biggest widest wheels I can get with the least amount of work and cost. Lazy, I know. 18x8s ?
  17. Anyone tell me if / how to get a set of 18x9s on my'05? Aodhan LS002 18x9 ANY insight help advice is welcome Thanks !
  18. Anyone know where I can rent beg borrow or steal a car worthy of Nashville backroads? I'm traveling there August 7-11 and open to any ideas suggestions tuner shops clubs...or...cars that aren't sleep inducing South FL roads, all flat and all right angles, are soul crushing for any driving enthusiast...
