So Ctsubie had a meet and cruise for RCR fast and,furious show/movie viewing. When the judges came around to inspect the cars, I noticed the one dude judging my car kept just looking around it (even though it's dirty as hell) and eventually asked who owned it. I of course said it was mine and he was like "wow glad a GT came out to represent the 5th gens, don't see to many of these around. Really well done". Always makes ya feel good when someone appreciates and knows about your car

Should have clarified I only have a summer set up haha the Cooper summer perf. Tires are like drag slicks when it's below 40 so I can spin first at will And sometimes second. And yeah dry pavement. When summer comes with high temps they're like glue :] Some,videos on our YouTube channel if you listen/watch close you can see the back end come out, but the superview setting on the go pro doesn't do it justice

So on my way to class this morning I was coming from work and this yellow lancer gets behind me right before a tunnel. So I let everyone hear the song of my people by ripping 2nd through it and have to,stop for the light ahead. The lancer guy cones up and says holy shit dude that sounds dope! I've never seen a 5th gen GT before, love what you did, etc. I dunno, thought that was cool compliment lol

Got 32.4mpg on a trip from Ct- Gettysburg PA (6.5hrs up, 5.5hrs back) this past weekend, pleasantly surprised. Ended up getting a speeding ticket however...again.. Was a 65 zone, then in .15 miles it changed to a 55 and bam motorcycle cop pulls me over

Yup I agree with JJ. Ive taught 3 people in my car with no problems really. Just do a quick explanation about what the clutch actually does, then have them find the catch point with the clutch only 5 times (once they move a little, pop it in N and come to a stop, rinse repeat) then seperately have them hold the gas around 1500rpms, then try it together in first, and should be able to get it going from there.

Nice haha! Yeah most are okay,most recent problem was with a firedepartment where one of the guys is waving me to go and the other proceeded to just stand and stare. Then they yell at me for following what they were saying to do? If it wasnt nearly 11 at night I would have gotten names/badge numbers but everyone was tired so I just dropped it. Oh well.

Mostly get the same reactions as other have said. At the car show I recently went to, some people came up and asked what it was, they never knew about 5th gen GT's and thought it was a 2.5i with a custom scoop built haha. And when I do the subie wave, lotta guys end up just staring at it trying to figure out what it is, oh well i like being exclusive
