  1. ^^^^ You still need a torque wrench to be accurate. (I don't use one when I did my springs, however.). For suspension... tight is tight....
  2. Definately 1/2" ..... and a compressor and pneumatic tools are your friend...
  3. Lots of new products added to the review section as of late thanks to a few members on here. Get over there and check them out! http://www.legacygt.com/reviews
  4. Yeah.. that happens anytime you try to edit a product. Tide is aware of the issue... but can't do anything about it since they haven't released updates for the software that the Reviews section uses.
  5. Done! But it isn't a subcategory..... exhausts is for cat back and turbo back exhaust sytems.
  6. DOH! I didn't know that. Thanks for pointing that out. I am using the LegacyGT profile. I thought everybody was.....
  7. Bump... only a few of our members have been contributing to the Reviews. Please take a minute to check it out. It could be a great tool if we just take the time to contribute... Click on "Reviews" on the top banner of the site.... Or better yet.... here is a direct link! http://legacygt.com/reviews/
  8. Hey tekneuro ... limber up those fingers and get typin! You have some catchin up to do!
  9. ^^^^^^ I still think this was AWESOME! And props to REM870 for the Hog-zawst name! I am still HZ stage 2 after all this time. I don't plan on taking them out any time soon.
  10. Good find! Thanks for posting. From that thread.... FRONTS Upper mount nuts - 14.5 ft-lb Strut rod nut - 41 ft-lb ABS/Brake bolts - 24.5 ft-lb Lower strut bolts - 112 ft-lb REARS 1) Upper shock bolts - 22.4 ft-lb 2) Strut rod bolt - 41 ft-lb 3) Lower shock bolt - 118 ft-lb (ugh!)
  11. "As tight as you can get them". Seriously... that is what I do on major suspension bolts. I use open end wrenches, 1/2" drive ratchets, and an air impact gun. If you want actual values.. you might want to check the members "vacation pics" on here.
  12. Regal Blue Pearl.... but I REALLY wanted WRB.
  13. Because that is permanent... this is competley reversible..within a matter of minutes.
  14. I have been underneath mine a few times now... last time was a week ago. I have had the Hog-zawst mod on for about a month or month and 1/2. There is some soot on the flanges... but none anywhere else. No damage to the undercoating or and discoloration that I could see....
  15. Rounded the bolt!!?!??!?! Were you using a socket that was too big or something?
  16. Air tool is what I used... but they also make electric ones. Just use some 19mm wrenches/socket wrenches with a cheater. Torque... in ft-lbs... is just that.... Take the force in lbs x the length of the fulcrum = torque...... 100 lbs x 2' cheater = 200 ft-lbs....
  17. I put it back on with an impact wrench.... that is tight enough.
  18. Ride is good. Feels stock on the highway and smooth roads. Railroad tracks and potholes aren't very fun... however... so you'll be watching for those closer. The body roll and pitch are reduced quite a bit ... and the car corners much more flat. It is a blast!
  19. You're probably right... I just put it in here for the suspension category. I'll move it over to walkthroughs and leave a link here....
