  1. I can tell you that I didn't have this issue last winter. I wasn't lowered then... but I was Stage 1.
  2. Negative, I have to agree with LittleBlueGT. I'm running synthetic in my rear diff. It isn't the oil.
  3. Vendors are making the parts that we use to modify the "limited" amount of LGTs that are modded.... so how would this be any different?
  4. Tranny mount, most likely. This is a constant growling noise that happens under hard acceleration in 1st-3rd... sometimes 4th... in cold weather.
  5. We should start to petition vendors to start supplying parts that will fix this issue. It is embarrasing and annoying.
  6. Straight pipes FTW! [ame=http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3371442942322151040]05 Legacy GT Muffler delete[/ame]
  7. Yep. The old ones will def. need pressed out. The new ones, depending on the design, could just slide in.
  8. The busings labeled as (8) above are the ones I think we need to worry about..... IMHO.
  9. From.... http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/05legacy.html http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/photos/ksb751.jpg Whiteline Differential Bushing Kit The rear differential bushing kit is designed to lock the front of the rear differential support outriggers to where they meet the body. Fitting of the kit will reduce rear-end float, particularly under acceleration, and will help remove the "thump" on hard/quick gear changes. $30 http://www.subaruwrxparts.com/photos/kb003diff.jpg Kartboy Rear Differential Bushing Kit The Kartboy differential bushings reduce the compliance of the rear differential, helping to eliminate the "bang" from the rear end on crisp shifts. 6 piece set, black urethane. $32 Yes... these are for an '05 Legacy GT. So... who's first?
  10. Nice try.... but you cannot defeat my MOD powers or my superfast posting reflexes! Bwahahahahahaha!
  11. Agreed. Whiteline makes bushings for the WRX/STi. Are we sure that the diff bushings aren't the same part # for our cars?
