I think I might have this problem as well. When I bought the car (used), the rear wiper wasn't working, so at first I thought it was just a bad wiper motor. Nope.

 

The strange thing is, I can measure 12V at the wiper connector, so the wires can't be completely broken. I guess either the wire is frayed enough that there's too much current draw with the motor actually connected, or maybe the ground is bad.

 

Either way, I might take a look at the harness this weekend before I have the dealer look at it on Monday.

I just got mine installed and I'm very happy with it!

 

Only downside is that appears that my AM button doesn't work anymore.

 

I can't be 100% sure that it's due to RedFloyd's kit, because I accidentally started following the instructions from mvigneau's aux-in kit and got as far as cutting the traces on the PCB before I realized what I was doing. Doh! Still, cutting those traces shouldn't have disabled the AM tuner, should it?

For you guys using the Yakima Q-towers and clips, which clip # are you using?

 

Yakima's site suggests the 53 up until MY2004 for the sedan, then changes to 78 for '05/'06 - but nothing changed styling-wise between those years, did it?

Dammit, I just got my order from Candlepower and I realized AFTER modifying the tabs on the bulbs that I'd ordered 9012s instead of 9011s. There goes $60.

Looks like I've got this issue on my 2006 LGT. I'm surprised this problem still exists, given that my '02 WRX had the same problem and a TSB was issued within a year or so.

 

I guess I'll just be tightening the clamps, unless someone knows of a similar TSB for the Legacy to fix it.
