Yeah, I have never gotten a code for misfire but I should probably log the cam position and commanded and see how everything looks. I even changed out the oil pickup tube because I was guessing maybe it cracked like the ej255/7 ones do, but everything looked good.

I love that someone else is putting as much time into their 3.0R as I have. Sadly I went through the whole effort of doing the timing chain and I still have a horrendous rattle while the car is part load at low RPM. Im starting to think it could be the cam adjustment solenoids sticking or an oil pump/pressure issue.

Did the rattle go away? Do you think it was the pitch stop mount?

I had to replace a bad coil pack on our outback. Misfire went away after that.

I have wrx 4/2 pots on the outback with stainless lines, aggressive pads and a master cylinder brace and the steering doesn't do anything funny when braking.

Have you replaced any axles recently? Ive got a vibration on the outback 65+ and everything is new except for the axles which I recently replaced with non-OEM but what should have been good quality. Its gotta be the issue as its the only thing I have left.

I'm stock outback height minus ~1" so I don't think dragging is an issue. Im tempted to cut the tips off and turn them down like stock.

Are those extended hangers in the back? I'm looking at pickig up an LGT exhaust but I was unsure of how the tips sit on the outback rear bumper.

Do you have any pics with the other mufflers on?

I dont drive the car very often, so its hard to say. However I would say the front end feels ever so slightly tighter and more together? It was $80 so I figured it would just look cool if nothing else.

Got a new toy in today Dont mind the filthy engine bay, the winters leave things pretty messy.

From what I can tell the STI uses the same part number ball joint as the LGT. All the same, ill take that most people don't have issues with them and that they seem to be of decent quality.

Anyone have any input on the balljoint that mevotech includes with these? I have 2 NIB OEM balljoint's waiting to go in when I ordered these. I'm thinking of using the OEM and saving the mevotech for one of the other subaru's.
