  1. Thank you! However, my stance has changed since Sunday. It sits a little higher now but still looks somewhat low. Will update with pictures next weekend hopefully.
  2. Which fuse is this? I'd like to try it out just for fun.
  3. Thank you. I'll let you know when I'm ready to sell the Strut Bar. It's a great bar, but I want to get a Whiteline Bar since that is the brand of my Sway Bars. When I'm ready to sell it, you will be first in line.
  4. Update: Been a LONG time since I updated this thread! Did all of the following a while back (please bare with me that these are iPhone pictures): Changed out the Tranny and Diff fluid using the same kind of Mobil gear oil that Subaru dealerships use: Replaced my worn out Front Rear Lower Control Arm Bushings with brand new OEM Subaru ones: Replaced my worn out Steering Rack Boots with brand new OEM Subaru ones: Went to some car meets: Got a no-name Strut Bar made for a 1G Impreza RS that fits my car (which is just going to be temporary until I'm ready to buy a Whiteline Strut Bar): I know a girl that is a professional drifter and she is sponsored by Drag Wheels. These wheels normally cost $600 for all 4. She was able to give me her sponsor discount, so I ended up only having to pay $350 for all 4 brand new rims! The specs are 17x8 +47 offset. I also bought 4 new 205/50/17 Sumitomo HTR III Tires (they are in the "Extreme Performance Summer Tire" category which means they are in the highest performance category for tires that you can use for full street driving): I really wanted my Wheel Caps to have a Subaru Logo on them for a factory-inspired look, so I order 4 custom-made Wheel Cap stick-on logos from eBay (they look real believe it or not). The Drag Wheel Caps that came with my rims needed the "Drag" logos to be sheered off to allow a smooth mounting point for the new Subaru Logos, so i went to work: The final result: *If Lowering a Third Generation Subaru Legacy on 17 inch wheels, 17x8 +47 Rims with 215/50/17 Tires is the WIDEST setup you can go WITHOUT having to roll your fenders. I know this because when the suspension is fully compressed, I BARELY clear my unrolled fenders without rubbing. My 10+ hours of research in this wheel & tire size setup payed off: Tomorrow I pick up a new mod which will be replacing an existing mod on my car. I will also hopefully be getting this car professionally detailed from top to bottom within the next few months if all goes accordingly. The paint and clear coat on this car is all there but its in desperate need of a professional paint correction (which will restore the existing paint to a mirror-like finish). Tune in for more updates soon. - Jake
  5. You are not taking advantage of the AWD the car has to offer with your wheel and tire setup. Subaru's should be made to handle, not be low and non-functional. These are just my beliefs however. I don't want to be "that asshole" who tells you what you should and shouldn't do with your car, but I would at least keep it in mind.
  6. Just broke my record the other day and got 22.8mpg City/Highway using Costco 91 octane.
  7. Since I already have brand new OEM Plugs and Wires, I think I'll try replacing my air filter and fuel filter like you are suggesting. Thanks!
  8. I just broke my record the other day and got 22.5mpg (city/highway mix) using Shell 91 octane.
  9. 2001 Legacy GT Limited 5-Speed Sedan. Running 91 octane I only get around 20.5mpg with mixed city/freeway driving (never exceeding above 3,500rpm). I feel like I should be able to do better but aside from tire pressure I don't see how a drastic change in my mpg would be possible.
  10. I like the way they modded it to be honest (EXCEPT for the two tone colors). I think if they had changed the whole color to blue it would look like a 2005ish WRX STI.
  11. ^ That really sucks. What were the things they found "wrong" with your car?
  12. ^ Nice pictures! I hope that Military Truck didn't scratch your hood lol!
  13. Okay, no probbles. Well if you decide to sell, you know who to PM.
  14. Sell it to me for a hundred darra? A hundred TEN darra?
  15. Is that a genuine STI bar? How much would you want for that?
  16. The fronts will but you will need their wagon springs for the rear since the rear weight differs.
  17. How much less effective is it though? Is it a night and day difference (like upgrading the Rear Sway Bar itself) or is it just a small amount of stiffness that you happened to notice?
  18. That looks like a great upgrade! Thanks for letting me know about that. Unfortunatly, endlinks are not in my budget for this car right now. I'm only upgrading the bare bone parts for now. Did you notice a big difference with them in?
  19. Update: Lots and lots of changes to this car as well as more incoming in the following weeks and months. Lets start off with these: They are my new King Springs. The Rear Springs (Part Numbers KSRL-27) are designed specifically for the 3rd Generation Legacy BE Sedan. I'm not sure if any other Rear Springs exist for it. To my knowledge, everything else seems to be made for the Wagon. The Front Springs (Part Numbers KSFL-22) are made for the 93'-01' Imprezas. They are a direct fit for the 3rd Generation Legacy Sedan if you use the same Impreza Top Hats (Part Number 20323FA000) and Spring Seats (Part Number 20325FA000) that are required for the H&R Springs. This combination makes the car sit level (the Front King Springs that are designed for the 3rd generation Legacy Sedan acutually sit higher than the Rear Springs do, so the Impreza ones I have are actually the more appropriate parts to choose). So if you want an equal ride height for your 3rd Generation Legacy Sedan, you need Part Numbers KSFL-22 for the Front and Part Numbers KSRL-27 for the Rear, as well as Part Numbers 20323FA000 and 20325FA000 from Subaru. Here are some pictures of my install: From Left to Right: OEM Front Spring, H&R Front Spring, King Front Spring: From Left to Right: King Front Spring, OEM Front Spring, King Rear Spring, OEM Rear Spring: Here's a picture of the New King Springs reassembled back onto my New KYB GR-2 Struts and Shocks I was using for the last 2 months with the H&R's: This is how the car now sits with them in. Very level and proper-looking: Found out I have leaking Rocker Cover Gaskets as well as a bad Low RPM Missfire. Bought Brand New OEM Rocker Cover Gaskets, Rocker Cover Bolt Gaskets, Spark Plug Wires, and Spark Plugs: Right Rocker Cover removed: Left Rocker Cover removed: I used a mixture of Motor Oil and Wheel Bearing Grease to lube the Gaskets. I also cleaned the oil off that you see in the above pictures. Everything is back together now. Also ordered a Whiteline Adjustable Rear Sway Bar: Here are some comparison pictures between the Whiteline Bar and Stock: Here it is all installed after 2 hours total of removing the stock one and installing it. It was by far the trickiest Rear Sway install I've done due to the exhaust clearance:
