yea, it gets loud at about 3000rpm then it doesn't get any louder. it just flat lines lol. that is when you take the muffler completely off and let the exhaust free. yea, it's loud when you do that

alright, thanks. something tells me that it was never changed before i bought the car (74k miles) is there a how-to write up for this and a unique tool to do the job? yes, my vw had a unique tool needed for the filler hole bolt. made the process a real pita.

i think it's a good time to replace my transmission fluid. what is the best fluid to use? does synchro shift have products for subaru's? i had ran that in my vw's transmission

of course people have an 05 with an exhaust lol. don't worry, you're legacy will sound exactly the same as your wrx did. just do not get equal length headers. any catback will solve your problem. just check this thread for the one you like best.
