  1. I look at cars like every day! But not all that serious right now. Who knows though. I just invested a bunch more money in the LGT with the KWs, timing belt kit and I also picked up a top feed conversion kit with TGV deletes and ID 1000s. Looking to upgrade a little.

The carfax would be for my mom. She's back in the market for a reasonably priced car.

  2. Put new rotors and pads up front and attempted the bedding in process yesterday but I couldn't get more than 3 runs (get up to 60mph, brake hard to 10mph, repeat) in at a time before someone would inevitable come up behind me. Seems like back in the day you used to be able to find desolate stretches of road when needed but these days it's just traffic everywhere all the time. I tried that stretch of road that goes out to Cedar Fort thinking that was basically BFE and would be deserted late on a Sunday, but there was still all kinds of traffic. So I'm not sure how well my bedding in went but so far the brakes feel good. I went with ceramic pads to hopefully cut down on brake dust, which was pretty bad with my StopTech pads.

  3. Nice pick up Covious! Congrats!

Sounds like the Teins may work out for you but just in case you change your mind or if anyone else is interested, there's a really awesome deal right now for KW v2s. At InfamousPerformance.net you can get 15% off with promo code "sale 16" (I checked with Mike to make sure it is still valid and it is) which brings the price to $1644 but then KW is offering a $125 mail in rebate which brings the total price down to just over $1500 for the set. For the mail in rebate, you have to make the purchase by April 30th. Just thought I'd throw it out there just in case anyone is looking. I'm going to pull the trigger on a set myself (it's about time...I've been thinking and talking about it long enough ).

  4. Prancing moose badge! That's it!! That's pretty funny. I thought it looked a little weird for a Porsche badge based on the pattern of black pixels I could make out when I zoomed in but couldn't quite tell what it was. But yeah, I knew nothing about this little Volvo. Surprised to see it had a turbo and 5 cylinders. Looks like there was even a Polestar version, at least in 2013, but with only 250 made. I was checking out a 2004 S60 R a while back after reading this article on Carbuzz. The one I was looking at is actually still on KSL. Gotta love that shifter and the 6 speed gearbox. Cool stuff...but I don't think I'd ever sport the moose badge

  5. I seriously can't figure out what car this is and it's driving me nuts. I give up. Unfortunately the quality of the pic I took isn't very good so it's hard to make out, but the yellow badge looks like a Porsche badge or maybe even Ferrari. Fake right? The car looks kinda like a 2 door Audi A3 but the back window and pillar is different. It looks German to me but I can't find a VW model that looks like this either. Anybody know what it is?

  6. Just in case you don't find what you need, I can offer both rears but in the front I only have the springs (I did the cut-a-strut install for my Koni inserts). Lots more miles on them than Calegre's though. I'm happy you kept your Outback. You had that thing looking brilliant!
  7. Decided to try something. Since I haven't been able to figure out a decent option to get fogs back in after installing my fmic, I figured I'd see what some LED strips would look like. Any opinions? I'm not sure, they might be a little rice but I guess I'll keep them for a bit and if I decide I like them, I'll probably buy some higher quality ones since these were definitely on the cheap side. Still I think I'd rather be able to get some actual fog lights back in there....there's just definitely not room for the stock fogs.

  8. 60K! Way to drive that thing into the ground! Must be nice to have them both running again. Your garage is still immaculate even when you are working on 2 Legacys at the same time! Seems like my garage becomes a huge disaster area even when I'm doing simple jobs on one car. Speaking of which, I have a new set of front rotors and brake pads waiting to go on at the moment. Hopefully I'll get to that soon. I also have several containers of e85 (well probably more like e70 ) laying around. I gotta go burn off the last of the 91 in my tank but since winter has apparently returned, I'll probably hold off until this weekend.

So....we need more pics of your wagon.

  9. Yeah I'm working in Lehi now. I'm going to head down to the Orem E85 station sometime this weekend if you want to drop off your containers I'll fill em up.
That's good of you but it's OK, it's not really that big of a deal for me to drive down there and fill up. Still need to decide when I'm going to switch back. I've been looking into flex fuel quite a bit lately. That would be ideal. I hope you can get your fueling issue resolved with your new pump and housing.
  10. Ha. I work near Timpanogos so I was about to take a picture of my Outback with Timp in the background, but she's covered with clouds.

You work down south? Um yeah I'm gonna need you to go ahead and be my e85 delivery service  Sucks cuz I'm now working up in Ogden so I decided to switch back to my 91 map. Apparently that station in Clearfield stopped selling e85 a long time ago. It was too much driving for me to keep going down to Orem...but I may start doing it again anyway since I'm only driving the LGT once or twice a week. My 91 tune is pulling fuel quite a bit for some reason too so I need to get that figured out.
