  1. I'm still gonna be shocked if they actually show up. We should get a count of how many were actually ordered. Assuming they're losing $100 or so a pop I can't see how they wouldn't just send nasty emails telling everything to eff off, lol.

    *fingers crossed*

    All sales are final! Haha

They can get a nice ration of shit from the Better Business Bureau if they did all the sudden decide to not send them.

  3. Not subaru related, but have a question for the guys with scanners and printers.

I have some 35 year old plastic side marker lights(housing and lenses)

If I sent you the part, would you be able to produce a new set of them for me, and how much?

If it all goes well, I might have a group of people interested in these also as there are currently only OEM units available, and they are all used, old and brittle.

    Thanks

    Andrew

  4. Combustion chamber changed in size too between the "B" and "D". Slight change in efficiency, hence the change from a VF40 to a VF46. If you are not careful and do not "know" what you have you can end up with a higher compression than expected. I know of at least 1 member who had nightmares with this when his builder was unaware.

I intentionally did the swap for the compression bump. 8.2 with B heads, to 8.7 with D heads.

High compression and "low" boost should get along alright.

We shall see when I take it to you for the flex fuel tune/kit and dyno.

  5. You can blow all of the seals by having too much oil pressure.

Thanks for posting this, confirmed what I thought basically.

I'm still new to engine terminology and especially being under the hood of a Subaru. Like I said before it would be great if you made those instructions for the full kit.

More so an issue of floating the bearings causing them to temporarily seize and form flat spots.
