  1. Sorry man you're starting to give me bad Kevin and Yoshi vibes with the asthetics, slow it down
  2. Don't you have one? I can't remember who here built a gnarly one
  3. Hauled home some mint mach1 seats to swap into my foxbody. Change it up from normal subie posts Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk
  4. Just a few recommendations. Even if you clay it or use some super fine steel wool that helps clear the windshield or any old sap and big guts. Easier on your wiper blades. Even guy a few squirts of a ceramic based detailing spray can help. Like P&S beadmaker, it's relatively cheap and gives good pop to be used on the entire car.
  5. Built car I had Redline synthetics in it, afaik that engine is past 25k on it. Otherwise all other Subarus I've the years is Castrol Edge syntec. Valvoline synthetics because of the quick lube places on a daily and my truck. Eneos and Schaeffers is a highly recommended oil if you can find it.
  6. I send him sweet wagons, racekurrsss, cool vintage stuff time to time through Facebook. He replies back and we BS for a little bit. Doing well afaik!
  7. I can suggest ceramic coating your glass all-around. Help with easier frost removal and ice build up. Not as much rain here as your guy's way but it's a world world world of difference. My one car I used Adams glass ceramic a few years ago. I reapply every fall. My other cars I've bought the Glassparency kits and it's lasted much longer. If you don't do that just the standard rainX is still a good product to help
  8. Fwiw a few years back I got some OLM leds that were actually for a 15+ WRX. Not that it matters. Used them in my 10lgt, my 08outback, and my 05 and 06lgt cars. I just switch them over whenever I get a new rig lol. They're stupid bright and crystal clear/white. I wanna say they were over 100+$ as well. Clarity is great and the throw is spot on
  9. Well said. I mean my 5thgen made over 400+/450(wtq. Now in comparison for what money I could've put into the foxbody during that timeframe would be insane with say 20grand+ in mods. Plan on the fox right now is just get some better seats and suspension to really have some fun out there with it. It's loud in the right way, and still a head turner for looks so don't need to do anything there
  10. I think the reason why I enjoy the fox so much is the old nostalgia of it. I just like that it's not like the Subarus that I've owned and have lost a fair amount of money into them. That's how the story typically goes though. It's much more fun to tinker on I do like what you're saying. Time will tell
  11. The main thing that is blowing my mind with the new cars is 400hp+ is the norm with easy with a 25-40g. Some of them having that stock! So far my contiplating still has me going back to a sport truck type build with a rcsb 5.0 f150. Then my other thought process is well...I've had my silverado for just over 2years and put 20k on it. Where most of the miles have been to Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake and Denver. Not me actually driving it around town on the born. Just out to go fishing at some places really. So rather than trading it. I only owe like 6g I think. I might as well just pay it off. Then move on towards a small boat for some fun. Meanwhile hang tight for this new car fiasco to calm down. Then go solely performance car like the new Nissan Z, or finding a slightly used new gen Mach1 or stage 2/3 roush mustang. My foxbody will continue to appreciate in value. Maybe just say **** it and put 10-20g into that. Butter we all know how the project loophole can go. Guess the benefits would be no debt wrapped up in a loan on a new vehicle
  12. The Audi all track things aren't too bad of a looking rig. Can still get a turbo and manual in them as well. I've seen several outback/4thgen wagon owners fill the void for a 3rd pedal by getting those.
  13. I can tell you my 08 outback and now my 06 Lgt wagon are 2 of the best Subarus I've owned. Wagon life is great
  14. Ya not worth the effort for me to send them to you. You'd pay more in shipping than the wheels. Join several of your local Subaru Facebook pages. Also the older 1st and 2ndgen legacy pages.
  15. Where are you located? I can pull a set like these from a yard for about 140$
  16. Ooof good deals, I'm sure my credit card would like to see a 600 charge lol. Tempting tempting
  17. https://www.amsoil.com/?utm_source=facebook+&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ship49_1121_lookalike_us In case anyone stocks up on Amsoil.
  18. Castrol, Valvoline vr1 for built engine or Redline. Motul and Schaeffer's good reviews if you can find it. Also some Subaru specialist shops have Enoes. Those have always been on my list to use. Run Valvoline in just about everything and multiple vehicles have hit 200k+ on stock iternals
