  1. Well, didn't have many problems except for one bolt. Passenger side regular bolt (not camber) in the front came out stripped and since the dealer was already closed, we went to home depot and got a replacement for a couple days. My main question is this though: When we installed the rears, there was no place for the adjustment screw to be accessed. It's like it was blocked off by a body panel part or something. There was something in the way of adjusting the rear struts, how do you guys adjust the rears in a sedan? I'm not describing it very well but the two tophat nuts went on just fine it's just that in the center where the koni adjustment is, is not accessible.
  2. yes stealth fmic and 2.5i hood would do the trick.
  3. Excited to see where you go from here sigma. subscribed for awesomeness
  4. I love those wheels on that wagon. It's a subtle difference from OEM but it looks just different enough to make you go "wait what?"
  5. I got mine properly installed over the weekend, thanks for saving my ass Mike!
  6. I'll also have access to a proper air impact wrench too so that and the breaker bar on the floor should work pretty well. I'll just soak every bolt that touches the suspension . The doing it in pairs definitely makes sense, i'll definitely do that. When they're all settled I have a KCA399 kit for the alignment shop to install when they do that as well, can't wait to feel my new car!
  7. TBH I'm not sure. Previous owner did some things to the car and then returned it to stock but I'm not sure how extensive the mods were. It was a florida car for the first 5 years of its life though and there isn't much rust on the underside. I'm thinking of soaking stuff in pb blaster for a week or so before I actually do the install just to be safe. I'd like to be able to do it in about 5 hours, is that reasonable?
  8. I'm preparing to do this, got the struts cut and everything ordered except the konis themselves. How long would you say this will take for someone with all the proper tools (breaker bar, impact etc.)? I'll have all the struts pre-assembled and will just be swapping all four corners.
  9. I checked home depot and lowes, neither of them have long enough zip ties for the BP kit. BMB is going to save my ass again and send me another one. In the meantime, some pics from my install. 1st pic - some of my tabs actually broke off on the turbo side, we'll see if that affects how well the kit works. 2nd pic - another shot of the two tabs that broke 3rd pic - my mcgyver solution to the 1/3 zip tie thing. Plastic zip ties on the cold side with gorilla tape all along the channels to hopefully hold them in place. Metal zip tie properly installed on hot side.
  10. Yeah that's a pretty sweet place to be working on it
  11. I hicksta'd my install, broke 2/3 zip ties. Anyone in MA have an extra metal zip tie from their install left over?
  12. Nope, just started to do it with the car on and stopped about two seconds later. So far it's still working lol
  13. On phone, too lazy to link. Check that guy's previous posts though, you'll see it on the f1 valve body upgrade thread
  14. Dude, all he did was try to clarify things for you. Basic math isn't hard
  15. I didn't check napa, online check says they're out at the moment. Don't think I'll have time to do it until next week, so might as well just buy it on amazon. I was trying to get it done today before 8 or so when the GF arrives, but alas, the car gods were not with me today. Monday it is!
  16. Got mine today! Can't find a banding tool locally though, AutoZone Sears and advance didn't have them. Anyone know where I can get my hands on one?
  17. both options do not offer control from the headunit. the ground loop isolator will prevent noise from coming through the stereo when you're charging the ipod.
  18. About to continue the success and order one for myself. Thanks!
  19. This just reinforces the stock intercooler. For 90 bucks you get the same reliability of an avo or perrin or process west intercooler without paying out the ass.
  20. I'll be ordering one as soon as I get a new job. Thanks for the clarification!
