  1. Off topic a bit but you mentioned it so... how many miles on the 7.3? Those babies are worth a ton out west!
  2. I can attest that sound deadening material (Nicio 10mil Amazon) works when you line the spare tire well. I had a low bass rumble at low RPM's/MPH's that was a bit louder than I liked, that is gone now! The Greddy is by no means loud, I'm very impressed with how great it sounds
  3. 05 here, P204H swap with Grom BT3, my android has a chip that causes the phone portion to not sound good, streaming is fantastic!
  4. How the hell did you get that wagon to ride so high?
  5. Thx Max, I reached out to Dave about a tune several months ago, he seemed a bit hesitant but willing to do the tune ( 138K), I'm going to have compression and a leak down test done when I have my valve cover gaskets and plugs changed. Now the question is Cobb dyno tune vs open source.
  6. No AP, tuner (Cali) gives no credit on AP3 towards the $650 tune, Lol
  7. I've had my GT wagon for going on 16 years with the stock exhaust, my new 400 miles Greddy SP2 sounds nothing like any of those WRX's and it has rumble!
  8. Hello all, Probably a stupid question but here goes. Can someone please enlighten me as to why I need to purchase a AP3 if I'm having a Subaru Cobb certified Pro tune on a Mustang dyno. 05 GT Wagon, mods will be STG2, Custom JmP VF40, Cobb catted DP, Greddy SP2 CB, Cobb EBCS. I've read several threads, and dont get it, part of Cobb cetification? Does everyone agree this is the best/safest way to go? Curious why I need to spend a extra $700. Thanks guys!
  9. I have lots of questions regarding this too but from the little I know I'm quite sure your need to run a STG2 map with the DP don't go into boost without it!
  10. I finally confirmed appt to have my 5 year leaking passenger valve cover gasket replaced, my 138k wagon doesn't use much oil but I've noticed a bit more smell at idle so I'm going have both cover gaskets, plugs, gaskets and the 2 hoses replaced. I'm also going to have the compression tested prior to going STG2 with my JmP custom and DP.

  12. Grimmspeed OEM DP to Catback adapter, 2x gasket and oem donut worked great!
  13. I can't take any credit for knowing what this part was aside from recognizing a subaru part number, I Googled it It looks to be quite expensive if you needed to buy one for some reason. Part Code 8761 http://jp-carparts.com/subaru/partlist.php?maker=subaru&car_baseid=F18013&type=B13&cartype=134&fig_id=865 https://autoparts.beforward.jp/detail/Computers---Sensors/Other-Sensors/PA31333308/

  15. My airbag replacement was done this way a couple of years ago, I was shocked when they came out and said it was done, or was it really done ??
  16. Awesome, thx Max, if I get everything I need and some warm weather Sunday I'll be under her again. When I install my Cobb DP I think they should mate up fine without the adapter.
  17. Thanks to all. I spoke with Greddy, the local shop and Underdog (Rick) I'm going without the spring bolts but using the adapter!
  18. Help please guys! I need to get this back together before my wife hears my wagon with a open DP, lol I'm matting up my OEM DP to my Greddy SP2 exhaust (60mm-2.36") I'll be changing the DP for a catted Cobb in the spring. I thought I could use a 3" 2x Grimspeed flat gasket but a local shop said it will leak if I don't use a Grimspeed adapter, 2x flat gasket with the OEM donut. After reading a thread Underdog says I should use the springs and bolts if I don't use have a flex joint at the end of the DP or at the beginning of the midpipe. Thank you all who chime in.
  19. Consider https://www.raxles.com/ if you go the axle replacement direction.
