  1. Around 11am again on 95 South a silver 05/06 GT modified with a single large can exhaust - the size you can take shelter in when it rains. Debadged but for a red subaru logo in usual spot, roofracks and tinted tails - 3 letter private plate took exit near route 2. Someone on here?
  2. 11am today at the Gulf/Dunkin Donuts in Westford MA - ABP GT Wagon with light interior. Older guy might not be on here... didn't notice my white wagon when I pulled in either so not sure if they know what they have.
  3. I love my SWP Wagon - was good to see Matt being so nice about them too... he has driven a lot of Subaru's. Really happy to have seen that vid.
  4. When will we all organize a meet again... there's a few of us around still but when was the last meet?
  5. https://gtrlighting.com/ I am going to guess.
  6. Just saw a very clean white 05/06 LGT with black wheels and a spoiler, yellow fogs and rally armor type flaps... pulled out from the old Ames plaza in Beverly. Shaw's plaza now I guess it's called.
  7. Oh yes... two modified GT's in my life now. The silver one is just silly now, don't drive it much.
  8. long time since I had a stock TMIC but when I did and mine was leaking, I used to pinch the tabs tighter with long handled pliers and it fixed the leak so a Bullet Proof kit will do the same and keep them tight. Probably will fix the issue permanently...
  9. dark colored GT with aftermarket exhaust and possibly wheels too - couldn't really see. 7pm last night at the bottom of route 3 - popped in front and gave my hazards a flash to say hello. So excited... another GT.
  10. 1 click of the remote control will open the drivers door. It then seems to take about 4 to 8 clicks of the remote control to get the other doors to unlock.
  11. Ah! Steven... I am not going to give that a response. Anyway... 2.50pm today Quartz silver GT modified on US coming through Marshfield VT - only one I have seen so far in a sea of Subarus...
  12. I get it if the car is bone stock... could just be a muggle and that's fine but when the car is clearly carrying a few tweaks and stickers - and then ignores another modified legacy?! - heck I even wave to the Wrx kids and get waves back, most of the time. Something is not right when there are mods and no recognition - makes me think they should have bought themselves an evo if they didn't want to be social. Subaru is all about family! Lol
  13. figured the spotted thread has slowly been dying with less and less spots. Kind of disappointing. But not as disappointing as the spot I made today, one I have done before too. 95N - Black 05 GT Sedan - SPT sticker in the back window, modified exhaust... driver seems oblivious to other GT's and no wave, no recognition - I don't believe they ever checked in the 3 or 4 years ago I spotted them before along the same stretch of road, same license plate... a lot of 4's - makes it an easy one to remember. Blah.
  14. how are you seeing the cable? Can you get some long needle nosed pliers in there and give it a tug?
  15. I tried that once and the wrapper tore and then the meat dropped inside the car and after a few days it stank something awful.
  16. I think he was asking how you take the trim off if you can't open the door. Answer... it's not very easy. You can remove the screws okay but the panel needs to be popped off around the edges which will be difficult but not impossible, maybe not completely impossible, next to impossible. It won't be a good time... once you can pop enough off then you can try and lift it up off the top edge by the window and maybe pull it back far enough to get inside and see if you can open the door. Not an easy job.
  17. Well that's not true. Accurate as of 02/04/2017 - The part you show in your picture, there are 7 of those in the USA in the Subaru parts system and can be obtained by the majority of dealers on Monday - at WORSE 3 to 5 days for some. Here in NE the dealer would have it Monday. It's under $100. I don't think it's as bad as you think. Like Mag says too, I think it's happened to so few people (JMP is one I do recall) but I do not believe it's common at all.
  18. I am happy you got such a good deal on the transmission. Couldn't be more deserving of it Jonah. Car looks good in the snow... you will have more of that next week!
  19. Jonah. I love you but resize the images on Flickr please! https://tinyjpg.com/ I just loaded the page and Verizon called me to tell me my monthly limit was up.
