spotted yesterday on 84 girl in black stock looking lgt that honked and had a bunch people in her car.

could have been me last night on 84 going west. I have 6k HID's and Yellow Fogs w/ stock spoiler and exhaust.

just really started noticing mileage suckage. Just got my 30k done, even if i dont drive agressively going through town in 2nd and 3rd gear is only showing 8mpg to like 12mpg, then once on the highway if i feather the throttle in 5th im getting around 22mpg. Something is up, i just also put in a K&N intake, cleaned my maf before hand, i dunno. I was running way rich before, like you could smell gasoline from my exhaust (catless). Who knows, a little worried though. I just drove 15miles had 3/4 tank now have half tank as soon as i start boosting i can watch the gas gauge go down lol.

 

EDIT:Before the 30k and before the K&N i was getting around 19.2mpg

whatever happend to thrasher he was a cool guy sold me his perrin muffs. Never see him post around on this board anymore.

black lgt sedan w/ hid and yellow fogs, i was on the other side w/ normal lights and yellow fogs. Rt 9 near Northampton, MA around 930 ish last night.

the obp at umass could be me possibly, i park usually on the weekends above southwest in that lot.. who knows though Im far from stock though

spotted: possibly the scans mobile on 91, i was going south it was giong north on 91.

impact wrench wouldn't even do me for the front strut bolts. I had to take it to a shop and they had to drill/shatter one bolt and use a 5 foot breaker bar (put the car on a lift) to get it off.

spotted white legacy in montrose ny (westchester county) w/ H.I.D. tint, looked lowered and possibly an aftermarket grille. i was a black legacy gt w/ a rbs grille and perrin mufflers

hrm i did both strut bolts to 112, steering wheel is FINALLY centered now too lol

nope it was a combination of tryign to use the breaker bar and slipping off plus the impact wrench rounding it.

rented myself a impact wrench, rounded the front lower strut bolt, arg! now i need to take it a shop and get raped on just breaking loose bolts.

an impact wrench, is that an air tool or electric tool? I can only do 78 lb of torque by hand with my torque wrench im a little afraid its not enough.. and i cant get the fronts off

did u guys torque it down to the factory specs? my torque wrench only goes to 79 lb tq and the stock torque specs for the lower strut bolt were 121

hows the ride now? i just got my h-techs today going to do the install tommorow night ill post some pics!
