Yeah, I remember Baddog's bracket install. He was pist off. He Cursed and said he'd never order from that company again.....the did a 180* and wrote that it was THE BEST mod that 80 dollars could ever get you! Once he figured out how to get the bracket installed slightly modded. I'm the same way, "pist as Sh** till I get it right!". Then it's just this whole other guy...

^^^brackets are cheap. Order new non-rusty ones. funny how you changed your mind on the MC swap.

^^^even the shape of the lights are different! The legacy grill won't line up with RS glass lights. Cameron, do you think you can continue on with this documented DIY thread with the MC brace? I'd love to see this done. Also, has anyone considered swapping a MC from either a WRX or H6 legacy into out 2nd Gen cars? I'm sort of curious about MC swap...

Cameron, I did the rear H6 brake upgrade that you posted on here. New Brackets, Rotors, Calipers, and Pads!! This upgrade cured a mysterious shudder my 99' BD sedan GT was suffering from. But, the one thing I made sure I did right was I bled all the brakes from all 4 corners of the calipers. The mushy brake pedal feel that you reported after you were finished with the entire job was not present on my car. My brake pedal feels solid! The differences that I have on my upgrade was that I didn't do the SS brake lines that you did on your job and the fronts are not WRX conversions. My front brakes only received the new 2000 year model rotors (which BTW, were the same part number from the 99' GT's front rotors) and new pads. From the profile of my Legacy the rear discs that are now 11.4" look as big as the front discs! The rear sway Will fit if you hammer down the space for it where it crosses the space tire area.

Jamal, I did my front brakes on my 99' LGT this weekend. I've got the H6 rear rotors, calipers, brackets, and pads. Do you think it wise to just get some H6 brake lines? Also, has anyone tried to mod the MC by swapping it out with a H6 MC or WRX MC? Looks like there is a little grey area on the MC swap for our cars.

I sort of like the idea of the Raclands springs after hearing about the set up that the have for the 98-02 RS set up. Jac, do you recall the price for those?

I'm interested in buying new rotors from a guy here in town that are OEM rotors for a 2000 Legacy. I've read about the H6 swap for the rear rotors already and know that it is possible for them to fit if I buy some new calipers from Autozone. What my main concern is if the front ones will fit my car. Can a person on here let me know if that is a go or not?

Looked on here for a place to find a new rug on my BD legacy GT. Does anyone know where i can order one aside from the "stealership" ?

Brok, is it possible to swap the 05' WRX STI EJ257 heads onto the EJ25D block? I know that there is sometime wrong with one of the heads on my motor and there is a guy that parted out his STI blob eye's STI and has the intake, heads, and exhaust that is willing to sell cheap. If I rebuild the heads on my EJ25D it's going even cash for that super slow motor to finally sound ok....cathartic to say the least. It's bad enough that I already have go drop the engine just to get to the heads on this boxer motor. ^^^i did do a complete rebuild. Crossdrilled crank, rods, pistons, HG's, it still has a slight ticking sound. I'm thinking it's one of my heads. I'm not dropping another dime in that motor. All new. Just rebuilt the old EJ25D for the last time. I've got to catch up with a ton of body work exterior and interior before I decide to make any real moves to buy a new engine. I got sort of tired of my car looking dated. 2012 will be a generous year for the ole Lego!

Just turned 100K. About to get to fixing it up back to a good looking Legacy here soon....I've got too much planned!!!
