HMMMMM... I just watched a video of the install of the grimspeed MBCB... and it seems like it'll fit with maybe one extra hole to drill(I ran out and checked the car..

I think I'm going to order the Grimspeed one and worst case I'll sell it to a buddy of mine if it doesn't work.. but it should.

Going to call my local shop today, see if he has a 2008+ wrx brace. If so, i'll buy it and try it.

I Was using masking tape... keep falling

 

and I can't get my drill inbetween the wheel and the corner screw hole wihout taking off my wheels

 

and be assured I have not given up.. just gonna do it with some brews friday after work...

I know all about the 4th gen Megans.. but after rolling the 5th gen variation for about 15-20000kms (got the set for 250$)... I can't complain... I had them on my 2.5i for about 20k kms and not a single problem on mine...

 

well one but minor... The top plate where you would adjust camber everytime my alignment guy tried to set it, the screw would slide, stripping the top and not staying where it should stay... fixed it with a locking washer..

Just curious why you would go your route instead of just buying a set of coil-overs?

 

all the trouble of buying different pieces when you could just buy a set and have the company make some spec changes if you so wanted......

I don't think so it would have to modified electronically.. I looked into it to keep the hill holder always on ... cause wouldn't that be more logical?.... but after seeing how much work it would be decided to press it when I need it and that's all...

And agreeing to the GPS/NAV.. dam I hate that... lol

The only STS available for the 5th gen Legacy is the STi developed STS. It is NOT the shifter from an STi but rather a shifter developed by STi the company for the 5th gen Legacy.

 

 

Now they just need to make some "other" parts for our model.. usdm though!

Yup.. the megans have 32 levels.... I set it at about 16 and the wife(and 5month old) haven't noticed... but if I set them on the hardest setting.. they respond well, but are a little annoying on average streets.

With the adjust ability my wife still hasn't figured out I changed them... I set them hard for the track and soft for street...
