  1. I just ordered this kit for the GT and I will post pics and a little write up when I do it. My New Years resolution was to install parts right after I receive them and this one doesn't take long so hoping to do it this coming weekend. Access to the rear bolts is far easier on the Fozz than it will be on the GT because the GTs spare tire well is very close to the diff which makes tool selection trickier.

is this kit the whiteline kdt903? Does that company make the kdt905 + kdt906 kits?...

  2. Not anywhere on this continent. There's a set of SWP OEM rear spats that have been on Croooober forever. Pretty cheap (only about $25), but shipping will be expensive. I got a shipping quote to Chicago and it was around $80 for shipping. https://www.croooober.com/en/item/6875197

Other than that, you can go with the Ebay 3-piece set that's a clone of the DAMD rear bumper kit. Has a middle piece and two side pieces. The side pieces are fine enough, but the middle piece is a bit of a pain to fit to the USDM bumper, and the fit isn't great. I got mine second hand, so I just have the middle piece. Held on with self-tappers and 3m tape. It does looks nice though. https://www.ebay.com/itm/322693902527

Other than that, there's a bevy of rear lip options, but they're all expensive and all will have to be shipped from Japan, so figure $1000 at least just to start.

    thanks

I don't like the croober model... and I found the ebay one (because thats the set I want) but they don't ship to Canada...

  3. is it motul 75w90 300 or the motul 75w90 300 LS? and how many liter for the trans 5?

EDIT..... never mind found what I couldn't previously found...

Rear diff and 6MT use the same weight

From a post a while back:

    Been liking Extra-S

    Tightening torque 6MT:

44 N·m (4.5 kgf-m, 32.5 ft-lb) (Aluminum gasket silver) (this is the one gotten from the dealer)

    70 N·m (7.1 kgf-m, 51.6 ft-lb) (Copper gasket brown)

    70 N·m (7.1 kgf-m, 51.6 ft-lb) (Metal gasket black)

Gear oil capacity: 3.7 liters (3.9 US qt, 3.3 Imp qt)

Extra S for the rear diff as well

Oil capacity: 0.8 liters (0.8 US qt, 0.7 Imp qt)

    Tightening torque: 49 N·m (5.0 kgf-m, 36.1 ft-lb)

  4. I'll play...

occupation: Senior technical advisor, Canmade Montreal, we distribute hardware for Kitchens, bathroom, and furniture... I have my masters and several bachelors and several trade certificates(electrician, plumber, chef, sommelier but don't use any..lol

I enjoy my job, and the benefits are awesome.. work 37.5hrs/week get paid 40 :)

  5. My understanding, according to the Cobb site, is that they won't do the trade between different models. i.e. an AP-SUB-003 v2 can only be used to trade up to an AP-SUB-003 v3, not to an "AP-KIA-001" if such a thing should ever exist (current tuning solutions are sensor piggyback chips)

It'll probably be a while before I feel like it needs more powah (i'm not naive enough to think I'll never feel that way). However...It's already stupid fast. It goes like a scalded cat. 100 smiles per gallon

The trade up won't work... but you can send in your whatever model and they'll reprogram it... eg I had one for mazda and they flashed it to subaru. It cost me about 100usd... then I traded it for a v3 :)

  6. hey guys searched on here couldn't find the answer i'm looking for...

yesterday I did the quad brake light mod, and now my car starter doesn't want to work, I assume it's from the car starter not sensing the brakes are on, I assume a load resistor would work eg...

but want to make sure it's the right resistance, I remember reading about it some where just can't find it anymore.

  7. The RLG coupon is an extra 20% added onto the volume discount - so it's $50 if you are spending $400. If you just buy a shift boot, it's only 20% (they appear to apply the volume discount to the reduced amount - so if you spec a shift boot at $55, then knock off 20%, you are below $50, so you don't get the 10% off $50 discount...

the site also doesn't allow you to stack discounts (maybe just a glitch?)

I was all excited at 50% off, thought I might try something different on my shift book (already have one from them - great product, just thought I'd try something a little different)

I tried to apply more than one discount and it wouldn't let me... I wanted 50%+5%+10%... but at the end I just got 20% off the boot like you stated...
